Any way to turn off autofocus for video?

To avoid the autofocus during video recording while the subject is relatively stationary, I was wondering if there is any way to turn it off once it has focused. I didn't find a setting for it, but maybe I am missing something.

I hope Motorola can fix this issue with the focus jumping in and out.

Aren't there any 3rd party video software programs that work (similar to the still picture apps) to replace the original program?

I'm not sure how well the MIUI camera app works for video (and I can't find a way to switch it to HD, or if it's just called something else) but it works... And the .893 update and TH3ORY ROM's updated cameras are a little better, not too amazing, but they are faster and the autofocus isn't quite as bad.
