Any word yet on when the Mate 9 will get Android 8? I know Huawei said 4 weeks after the Mate 10 came out but it seems like the Mate 10 has been out for over a month now.

So far as I can search is the Oreo update is out for the European variants Mate 9s. No other info about other models around the world.

Nothing for me yet and I've been getting the security updates regularly on my UK handset. I'm on B198 firmware which has November security emui 5. 0.1 android 7.0.

What Mate 9 model do you have? It seems to be available for MHA-L29 and MHA-L09 models

I have a Mha-l09. I believe I can download the firmware and sideload it but not got it formally yet over the air.

Its not on firmware finder yet for me. Latest on FF is B198 and I've now received that OTA.

Ah, maybe you can contact huawei and see if your phone is available for that update. Not sure why you're not getting it if it's available for your model

I have been running Oreo with EMUI 8.0 on my US C567 since the beginning of November. It's available to install from Funky Huawei.

I suspect they will be deploying it ota in the near future. Has anyone received Oreo over the air or are you all loading manually. I tend to wait.

It's split at this point. Some in Europe are getting OTA, in the states it's manual. Depends on what variant you have from what I can gather.
