Anybody else still not have Lollipop on the Wifi-Only version?

I don't have 5.0 either...

5 was pulled shortly after the problems started rolling in for those who did get it. If you were part of that 'lucky' bunch, they've been rolling out 5.0.1 (for, it seems, all Nexus devices but the N7 - 2012) and 5.0.2 for the N7 - 2012. These point updates appear to be patches simply to allow those who did get 5 to regain some stability and control. It was certainly the case for me - though despite fighting against it, I found I had to do a full Factory Data Reset and then re-sign onto my various accounts and app settings (and there's several hours of my life I'll never get back) to bring my N7 back to the smooth('ish) behaviour.

For those who never got 5 and are still on 4.4.4, you may wish to consider yourselves lucky - but it may now be you won't see an OS update until 5.1, which is rumoured to be out in February.

Too late for me so be thankful! My tablet was a thing of beauty till I installed lollypop. Nothing worked as usual,it froze, turned itself off blah blah. I tried advised remedy methods. But my battery fried and my tablet is bricked. So it would seem this tablet will not cope with lollipop, reading so many other comments. As maxman said, be careful what you wish for.

Not sure why people are wanting this upgrade so bad. I upgraded my N4 and while it works fine after nothing in Lollipop excites me and in fact several things bug me. The major one is the inability to close of apps no longer being used all at once. I realize there are possible good reasons to keep them open for cache and other purposes but I see a definite improvement when I have about 20 apps open and then close them which takes about a minute vs 2 seconds.

I haven't received the OTA but I have also set the device in settings not to give me the notification. Some say this setting gets overruled by Google but maybe not for the N7. I couldn't stop the N4 with that setting from notifying me.

I had issues on my 2012 Nexus 7 wifi with the 5.0 update like most others were experiencing. I flashed the 5.0.2 factory image as soon as it hit the airwaves and my device is running smooth and fast again. Hoping it stays this way, but it appears this 5.0.2 specific update to N7 2012 has really helped my device's performance....

Lucky it seems you really are lucky. My N7 2012 was already slowed to a crawl and 5.0 made it worse and added two new problems. Can't connect to wi fi and tablet keeps shutting down now, so I am wondering if I will ever be able to download 5.0.2 in hopes that it fixes things.

Me neither. But I'm in no hurry to update my N7 2012 that's still 4.4.4. When it happens, I'll adapt.

I'm becoming increasingly convinced that we won't see a N7 2012 OTA for all the rest of us on 4.4.4 until 5.1.x is released sometime after January.

So my N7 that already had 5.0 just got 5.0.2 tonight (still working great). The other N7 is still on 4.4.4 :-\

I got the 5.0 OTA update a little over a month ago on my 2012 Wifi only N7. Did a factory reset after I got it. Ran good for about a week, then went downhill quickly with lots of lag, periodic freezes and random reboots. I just received and installed the OTA 5.0.2 update tonight. First impression is positive but way too early to tell. We'll see how it goes and report back. Supposed to take delivery of a new 2013 wifi only 16 gb N7 that I bought on Groupon last week for $135. Hoping that runs well but may keep it on KitKat until they release an update to address the Lollipop memory leak issue. Also have a N10 that has been on 5.0.1 for a couple of weeks that is running well so far.

Almost no one has it yet, even as of January 8. Google is rolling it out extremely slowly... Plus I have heard the first rumors of lollipop version 5.1, allegedly releasing in February.

Look at ZDNet's article from 1/8/15 (I can't post links here yet...)
Their summary: "The latest Google Play Store operating systems results are in and after six weeks out Lollipop hasn't even reached 0.1 percent of users yet."

I've just received the 5.0.2 update. It's definitely faster than 5.0 (but not any better than 4.4.4). A few apps are still taking a long time to load, but I'm guessing those just need an update. Remains to be seen if 5.0.2 has fixed all the crashes 5.0 was causing.

I think Google has something up their sleeves... this long and still a tiny fraction of a % have received the update? My best guess would be they see no urgency due to (allegedly) 5.1 coming in Feb. combined with reports of continued issues with 5.0.1 and 5.0.2. If I were them, I would apply resources to 5.1...
