Anybody going to Switch to S5 from Note 3?

The only real way is could see anyone switching is if they wanted to downgrade the size of their phone. Other than that the N3 and the S5 are two different phones aimed at two different markets

Some people just want the latest phone.

I'm keeping my hopes up for an S5 "Prime / Premium" edition than MAYBE i'll switch but at this point the S5 offers nothing that would wanna make me switch.

It's sadly just a rumor me thinks. Premium materials isn't something Samsung Mobile is into.

What exactly will the S5 bring that will make it trump the N3?

Well, it's got a 5.

I can't answer this with enough knowledge.

Not physically much smaller though it seems, practically speaking.
Camera shots are looking very good on the S5.
I like it a lot, the S5, but I won't change over now from the Note 3.

Would I change if offered a straight swap, used N3 for a NIB S5? Mmmm, possibly. Just losing that 0.6 inches for what's still a big phone. Stylus wise, I'm not bothered.

I'm still waiting for more information regarding what it will bring that will push above the N3. At this point I'm sure the N4 will come soon.

Not a chance.. Downgrade to an interior device? No thanks.. I'll be keeping the Godzilla of the smartphone world.. They can keep their mildly warmed over S4.

similar processor, less ram on S5, worse screen better camera S5.
Note 3 is way above spec wise really, and a lot of extra stylus and note features you may or not use.
I assumed you looked at the show reviews.
Go for the Note 3 for the better screen. Go for the S5 if it has to be smaller and is the latest smartphone for a few short weeks.

I couldn't agree more with what you just wrote. Kudo's to you! Most posts in this thread are from the brain-dead.

You're a bit of a tool. Just an observation tho. Take your opinions and go **** up a rope.

My post wasn't insulting anyone, unless they took me saying people expected to much from the S5...... I certainly wasn't referring to anyone being brain dead like the person who quoted me said...

I mean other than the RAM, Screen Size and stylus the S5 has better specs everyplace else according to this and other comparison sites I read. Plus a few extras light heart rate monitor, finger print scanner and the water resistant feature. But again it's all about personal preference. The Note series caters to a different market than the S series. I guess I am an exception because I jump back and forth, but mostly for testing reasons.

All aside I'm not sure why anyone would move from the Note 3 to the S5 unless they just wanted a smaller, newer device. Dust and waterproofing are nice if needed. I, in my suburban oasis don't envision having my phone in environments where such would be necessary.

One thing I look at is the Camera Focus and and response time improvement (read somewhere it was .3 seconds). I use my phone for pictures and my Note 3 seems to have a lot of trouble focusing. If there is a fix for that I would love to know, because for instance I was using it to record my daughter's play in a well lit gym and the focus kept going in and out consistently.

What exactly is an "interior" device anyway?
