Anybody Have 4.4 OTA?

I got it today in central Florida. A local friend with a 2013 n7 has yet to be so lucky.

Just saw my update is available. I already knew I didn't want it but it's hard to not go to the newest version available, we are nexus people after all. So I thought I would check back on this thread and now I'm sure I don't want it after I just read confirmations that flash doesn't work. I understand flash is supposed to go away but it still has a great presence on the internet and I'm not about to install something that could potentially cause my browsing experience on this tablet to downgrade. It's a device of convenience and I refuse to break that. Just my opinion. I know not everyone will agree.

Does anybody know the technical reason why flash does not work?

Just got the update for nexus 7 and 10 in Puerto Rico.

Got mine. Need to explore and examine the changes, and despite how trivial it is to some I miss my blue theme. That said, it really does seem a little snappier. I'm generally happy. ☺

Hey, I can confirm flash no longer works :-(...
I Received the update on my Nexus 4. (The awesome new features in kit kat makes up for broken flash though.)

I still have not received it on my N10. Should I get it before thanksgiving?

I dunno, I have the update sitting here and I've been holding back precisely because of the Flash issue. Amazon Instant Video goes bye bye once I no longer have Flash. I don't use it (Instant Video) all that much but I like to know it's there. I shelled out $3 for Puffin last night to check out its Flash rendering, but Instant Video with it is jerky and out of sync. I just have to decide which is worth more, having the Instant Video option or having Kit Kat.

Edit: F-it, I went ahead and upgraded. If I really need Instant Video, I can use my Note 2, which won't see 4.4 until the next millenium. Definitely nothing earthshaking about this update for the N10.

Still no kitkat for me in Michigan..I have a nexus 10.. Its getting very annoying

Further proof it isn't regional or location based. I'm in Michigan and my update came last week on either Thurs or Friday.

I wonder if activation date is a better reflecton to how Google rolls out the update

I believe it is a random selection. I just got mine last night but I got the nexus 7 update last week.

But in reflection, I wonder if a completely bare device (minimal apps downloaded) factors into that at all over a device that has 200 apps installed.

I have said for years it has nothing to do with location (other than country) and twice already in this thread!!!

Nice to see it seems to be rolling out in more force now. So far, it seems like my battery life is a bit better. But I am also having freezeups when trying to launch Plants vs. Zombies 2 where it just sits there forever and then takes forever to kill and I never can get it to work, then have to reboot to get it to launch. Never had this issue with any program prior to 4.4....

Turned mine on today and got the update. Only nit I've noticed is that pictures in Google+ albums have dark bands across the top and bottom. The bands are semi-translucent, but are covering parts of the pictures. Haven't found a setting to undo this and display full screen.

That is the exact reason I said "further evedence". I was supporting your argument :) I was hoping we could put to bed all the posts stating "I am in the State of ___________ and am stil waiting"

Got the update this AM.

My sideloaded Flash still works with firefox and dolphin. I need it to read the LA times.

Uh, either you actually didn't get the update or the LA Times uses HTML 5 when one doesn't have Flash, because Flash no longer works with 4.4, no how, no way.
