Anybody received 8.1 Preview 2 yet?

I realized it was just announced but I wonder if anybody has gotten it. I'm especially curious if anybody gets it that's on 8.0 with the November patch.

Oh ****. Just went to System update.. and low and behold.. I got the "system update available" for Android 8.1.0 beta. It's 186.2 MB. Gonna download it now.

Yeah it took a while. Just restarted my phone right now.

When you to to Settings-->Display--Colors, you can see the three color options(Natural, Boosted, Saturated). It's on boosted by fefault.

Maybe its just me, but starting up the camera seems noticeably faster? Could it be the visual core processor at work.. hmm

Camera does seem faster. Saturated looks too cartoony. Boosted is a a nice level of color.

The menu for the color schemes are different.. Before boosted was first and saturated was last.

I really, really, really hope there are some bluetooth fixes in this. I was going to return my Pixel 2 today but didn't make it to the store in time. The Pixel 2 stops playing audio when going to another track (although the phone still continues to play with no audio) and I have to keep hitting play on the car to start up audio again. There are multiple complaints regarding bluetooth on the Google forums.

I have 2 more days in my return period. I hope something changed because I love the camera. If not...back to the 8+ for me.

I got it about 5am UK time. But Android Pay has stopped working. It says my phone is rooted and can't be verified. I did the beta as an OTA and my bootloader is not unlocked.

May have to leave beta and revert back to a clean version of 8.0 if the Android Pay issue continues

. imIt failed the safety net test and the cts profile has failed. This means Android Pay will not work with it. So I guess I will be downgrading my phone until the official update comes out. A fun day ahead of reinstalling my phone. I know it is a beta but this is quite a significant issue.

The saturated setting was too much for me when I got the patch but I'm used to LCD

Probably placebo. I heard a Google engineer said on Reddit that the stock camera does not use the PVC. The developer preview merely enabled the PVC for third party developers to test.

I guess it could be but I never really noticed it as being slow.... it's faster than my prior device so I would be a poor judge.

I loaded Pay based on your post and pops up normal. Haven't actually used it. When do you get the error?
