Anyone come from iOS

People think I'm a drug dealer
The worse part is carrying them but I manage 2 in same back pocket and one in hand .
Some of friends look at it me like crazy when they see me with multiple phones and different phones everytime they see me. I'm like don't even ask since you guys don't understand

Yep it is.. I'm not. Jumping again for a long time now since I'm locked into AT&T 30 month deal.

Unless you get your next phone from other deal outside of AT&T and you can private sell that $300 N20U for much more to offset the cost. The buyer of the other phone would have to use it on AT&T of course.

Wondering if anyone came over from iOS and has been on Android for a while. Not looking for traditional phone jumpers who switch phones every month. How are you enjoying the N20U?
Left 11 Pro max for note ultra and so far loving it...

Went from the Droid X to the iPhone 4, tried the Bionic and Note 3 along the way but returned them. Stayed on iPhone till the XS Max, traded it in on the S20U. No plans to go back.

I always go back and forth. Last year I calmed down and ended up going from Note 10+ to an Fold to an 11 Pro Max. This year I added an S20 U, another Note 10+, a Note 20, Note 20U and pre-ordered a Fold 2. I just sold the 11 Pro Max and am planning to stick with the Android phones unless the iPhone 12 Pro Max is so great that I have to let the S20U and possibly the Note 10+ go...but I'm thinking I'll be with Android for at least the next year.

I firmly believe the navigation on android trump's the new IOS 14. Apple moves in small increments where Android jumps light years ahead of Apple. Just navigating the iPhone 11 compared to the note 20 is night and day with the note being the clear winner.

I switched from an iphone 11Pro Max and came to the Note 20 U. I sent the first one back since they dinged me on a trade in, went to the S20+ and sent that back (don't judge) and went to a N20 U with ATT since they were giving $1000 credit for a trade in over 30 months. I like the phone a lot. Powerful, fast as lightning and smooth refresh rate, the cameras are really good as well. Surprised because I had one a few years ago and the pics were soooo oversaturated then. Not now. Crazily, I'm struggling not to trade this in and go back to my 11Pro Max until the new iphone comes out. I miss imessage, Apple Pay, sending videos in full HD quality and the lack of all the duplicate apps. I will.probably hold fast and go ahead and sell the Pro Max so I won't be tempted, but it's hard. I have never stuck with Android for more than 1 month in the past 3 years. I just need to hold tight. This really is a badass phone and I've gotten past all the barriers that used to bug me.

Samsung got it right with the new note 20. I haven't had any issues at all and the device is super snappi! I had the OnePlus 8 prior which was a bit faster but had screen freeze issues. This device is my last time I switch selling my 11 and apple watch.

I don't understand this from iphone folks. iMessage, just use Google messages and turn on rcs for resolution. It's just texting. Apple Pay, Samsung Pay actually works anywhere that has a magnetic strip; something Apple doesn't do. Apps? This one I didn't really get. Apple is the best at making people think they are the best while they limit what you can do on your device. No thanks. I'll stop there. Lol. Not a fan of Apple.

I'm a big time Android person first love and not planning on ever leaving it .. It's just not just a message app IMO ... Not when you have hundreds of people you interact with regularly... Yeah you could definitely get plenty of great alternatives in Android ... you will not get the same interaction being on the other side ... You can get by easily though ... But plenty of peeps don't want to leave it I can't blame them ...

Another thing being having multiple iOS devices .. fluidity is key for me ... Now would I tell someone imessage is the best thing since slice bread most definitely no ... But it just ties everything together nicely business and personal ...

It's just a message. If you get the message that's all that matters. That's not a reason to stay with a device that is locked down to me. Plus, that notch is hideous. Lol.

They're both great choices in their own right, I just don't get it. Lol. But I like to customize and feel like this affords me that freedom, even though it's expensive. Lots of folks buy iPhone because it's what there friends have and it supposedly makes them apart of the crowd I guess. Apple is depending on that trend. Even if they're late to the party with tech, they can say they innovated it and lots of their followers believe that. What many don't know is, there are some Samsung parts in their iPhone.

I love the customization as well...plenty of things Android influence in iOS and hardware as well ...both have their pros ..most importantly let's keep on improving ...

So I returned my Note 20 ultra. I enjoyed the camera, it took great photos but I was having an issue with the screen. It never looked right to me. If I had it on vivid, it was over saturated badly. If I went natural it had a blue tint to things, then tried the blue light filter and that made the screen warm and dark. I held the Note up to my 11 pro max and the color seemed better on the iPhone. I don’t know if I just got a bad screen or what but definitely didn’t like it. My battery life was pretty good, all around a good phone, just the screen threw me way off.

The problem is Apple does not support RCS outside of iMessage. So when you send a text from android to Apple it reverts to standard sms, which there for compresses the video or picture down and causes graininess. If Apple supported RCS on the standard sms side then yes it wouldn’t matter which device you were on. And to try and get friends and family to download a third party app to send and receive videos/pics is hard.
