Anyone concerned about LTE speeds once iPhone 5 hits?

Explain the pattern then.

Obviously now I can see them doing that. I never said they wouldn't though, just that I didn't think they would. And they still might not, but there's no way they'll call the 6th gen iPhone the iPhone 5 though.

No, it will simply be "The New iPhone."

What? That 5 comes after the number 4G? Lol

The first was called iPhone.

The second added 3G so they called it the iPhone 3G. The 3 in 3G has nothing to do with the generation of device it is.

The third kept the same design as the 3G but was faster so they called it the 3GS (S for speed). The 3 in 3GS has nothing to do with the generation of device it is.

The fourth wasn't called the iPhone 4 because 4 comes after 3GS. 3GS isn't a number; it's a name. It was called iPhone 4 because it was the fourth iPhone. The 4 has everything to do with the generation of device it is.

The fifth, like the 3GS, kept the same design as the previous model but it was faster so they called it iPhone 4S. The 4 in 4S has nothing to do with the generation of device it is.

They're not the best names, but they're all completely logical. If Apple doesn't drop the silly names and just call it iPhone or if they don't come up with another one like iPhone LTE, they'll name it after the generation of device it is again which would be 6. 5 makes no sense.

There's no point in me even arguing because you people think Apple is counting 3 3 4 4 so the next two models are obviously 5 5 even though that "pattern" is completely ignoring the first iPhone. But this has nothing to do with the original topic so I'm not going to argue any more.

And the winner is the new sixth generation 4G-LTE named, iphone 5!
