Anyone continued to use their phone for more than two years?

I'm over 2 years with my Galaxy Nexus, the batteries were pretty bad (1850 stock, then 2100 factory extended). So I went with a Seidio 3900. I'm on my second one, heavy user, my wife is still on her first.
I don't ever want a phone that doesn't allow me to replace/upgrade the batteries.

Still have my nokia 6275i (2007) and the battery still usable but not as good as it was.

Also see a friend still using his nokia monochrome (brother of 3310) probably 2000 or 2002. Will take a pic if i met him again.

My friend is still using his nexus 4 and plans to until after he buys his car which will be maybe 6 more months. Longest phone I've owned was my OG droid. Had it for about a year and a half.

I had an HTC MyTouch 4g for about 4 years. In the end the battery started to die out so I could only get about 2 hours of screen time before I had to recharge it. Just recently upgraded to the One M8 and I'm glad I don't have to deal with that anymore :D

Thanks for all the replies. I'm happy to hear that it is possible to keep your phone running for longer than I thought you could. The removable battery is one of the reasons I first thought I would get the Note 3. However, now that I have some real-life experiences of people getting more than two years out of their batteries, maybe I can seriously consder getting the Nexus 6. If the AT&T version is identical to the Play Store version (not loaded with AT&T apps, etc.), then I could buy it on contract. However, if it's not, then I have to decided if I really can manage paying the full price and buying it from Google.

I would like to but I start caving into the urge to upgrade before even a year is up
