Anyone else having hard time doing Screen capture?

I know it's power + volume down.

But it's hard to get it to work. It just keeps changing volume instead. Even if I press power before I press volume.. Nothing seems to work.. Unless I just get lucky. So far my success rate is like 5%

Anyone else having same issue here? Any solution for me?

Do you have the Adopted case on, while trying to take a screenshot? With this case on, I have troubles taking a screenshot. Without the case, no issues.

YesI do have have the case on. I wonder why that makes a difference

But in all honesty, it's ridicules the way screen shots are taken on vanilla android. I mean come on, they can't come up with a better way?

I also have the adopted case and had huge issues when taking screenshots. With the case off, it works flawlessly. But I've found two things.

1. If you press as far down on the volume button as you can, it'll work.

2. It seems like the case has broken in a bit (maybe, or its just me being crazy) because I don't actually have to do #1 anymore.

Ymmv, but it works a lot better than it did a week ago, with the case on.

I press both buttons so hard I feel like I am gonna break the phone. Just failed the last 10 attempts. Always go to volume change.

No problems here. It's just like all my other phones. I've gotten very good at pushing them together to snap a screenshot .

No problems here with the OEM Nexus case, Diztronic case or naked.

I can't get mine to work at all. I thought there was a different way to do it on the phone. Not a major problem, but still. I tried with and without the case.
