Anyone else having hard time doing Screen capture?

You too? The app works and I can post I just can't attach as the app crashes...

I have seen a few people say this so think it's a bug.

It's definitely the case. On my Nexus 6, I liked the Seidio Surface case which left the phone's buttons exposed; I will be buying one as soon as it becomes available for the 6P.

I have to intentionally hold both buttons down for a second. If I quickly press and release, it usually doesn't work.

works intermittently. there definitely needs to be a better solution not just on the 6P but other devices as well as it is usually hit or miss

Just noticed something that I've never seen before. Because I can't take a screen shot, the volume control pops up. Well, if I continue to hold the DOWN button and the power button simultaneously, the volume actually goes UP. Friggin weird. Like I said earlier, it's not a big deal, but I really do use the screen shot feature what seems like a few times a month. Hope it's software and it gets fixed in an update. If not, I'll look for an app or something in the meantime.

It happened to me too! Really strange!

Are you guys using a case? Adopted case?

Just the Nexus case with that fabric back with the cubes on it or whatever it is. Either way, it doesn't work with the case off as well.

I returned that case. It seemed to sit far off the phone and I could feel myself pushing it in. Was my case defective?

Anyway, I'm now using a Diztronic which provides better front protection due to bigger lip and fits better overall.

It's impossible to do with my Adopted case on, but it takes it perfectly with it off.

I really wished they didn't cover the buttons.

edit:
Do you have the Adopted case on, while trying to take a screenshot? With this case on, I have troubles taking a screenshot. Without the case, no issues.

Lol, I should of quoted this and said same or this.

I had the need to do several screenshots this morning and I just want to add that it is impossible to do so with the Google case (the one with the fabric on the back) as I stated earlier, but also somewhat difficult even without the case.

I have the Adopted case from google. It seems extremely easy to screen cap without the case.

I know it's power + volume down.

But it's hard to get it to work. It just keeps changing volume instead. Even if I press power before I press volume.. Nothing seems to work.. Unless I just get lucky. So far my success rate is like 5%

Anyone else having same issue here? Any solution for me?

Thanks in advance!

When I have trouble doing this I simply say, "OK Google, zap my screen". This works on my Droid Turbo, not sure if it will work on Nexus 6P. Worth a try.
