I've had my Samsung galaxy s6 for almost 2 years now and the battery has always been average but has never decreased its performance until recently. Everyday it will be around 70% and it will black out and restart to show me I have 4% battery left. It started out as doing it once a day, then twice, and now today about 10 times with a new way of it freezing up and doing a soft reset showing a white led. I've reset the phone twice in the past 3 months and it doesn't seem to do anything. Any ideas?

Yes. Mine just started doing something similar a week ago. I ended up wiping the phone as reloading everything. That seemed to help.

It could be a faulty battery. Average battery life span is 2 years, after that time replacement could be needed.

My suggestion is if you have done a factory reset and the issue persist then take it to a shop for a battery replacement or look around for a new phone.

I just got a new S6 and I'm having to need about 3-4 full charges each day. Is that normal with this phone?

Depends on your usage. Are you a power user, frequently streaming HD videos, streaming a lot of music, intensive gaming? If any of those is the case, then perhaps that is normal. But if you just do occasional brpwsing, calls, texting, media here and there, tgen that would certainly not be normal. To be honest, i never found the battery on this device to be appropriate for what it runs. It's underpowered to me.

The battery will supposedly be at 7% or so but if I turn it off and plug it in it will say 56% or whatever its at. Its almost like the system doesn't know what the battery level is. It will also go into a state where it will turn off and won't run for more than 30 seconds before it shuts off without warning. Not a normal shut down just a blackout. It will also get warm in the top right corner when this happens.
