Hey guys

Anyone else noticed that when you activate "Stereo+" in Landscape mode throught the phones speakers (on any Media Player) and the phones screen switches off .. either by you or it times out, the Stereo+ switches off / goes back to Regular Stereo (or High End Stereo) as Huawei calls it....

I wonder if this is a Bug...

Anyone else found this?

Just noticed this in the Mate 9 forum so it seems to be a bug that came with Oreo?

I read around abit and the obvious answer is maybe Stereo+ is not a music mode, but a Movie Mode...

When your Display turns OFF, am I right in thinking that Its a reset back to Portrait mode, because the AoD is in Portrait, so all phones must default back to Portrait mode when screen off

Maybe thats it?... Or Huawei forgot that when they built OREO

After discovering this... I DM Huawei on Twitter, this is their response:

" Hi! Thank you for your reply. We have just followed you, so you should be able to DM us from now on. As soon as the screen turns off, the portrait mode will be automatically enabled, therefore the stereo+ will deactivate. This is a feature of the device and not a fault. Let us know if you need further support and we will gladly assist you. Have a wonderful day! "

So yeah, Screen off is reset to portrait mode .. So as i mentioned its obviously a "Movie Audio +"
