Anyone else returning their Note 20 Ultras?

You could have sent it to me. Some of us are still waiting..

I could have - BUT - you would not have liked the fact it was set up forward $$s from your bank accts to my 4 ex-wives each 15th of the month.

Returning the Note 20 Ultra is definitely something I'll be thinking about this weekend. One of the biggest features I look forward to every year is improved battery life. For the Note 20, I turned off 5G and 120hz and the battery life still seems to be not quite as good as the Note 10+. So there's not much I'm benefiting from the 20 Ultra. Plus it's heavier and doesn't feel as comfortable to hold as the 10+

The only noticable difference to me is the amazing zoom and super fast auto focus on the camera. But I'm trading in my Note 10+ and paying $800 for this upgrade? There's no way it's worth it. Which reminds me, Samsung pulled an Apple and went cheap by cutting the storage in half meaning I had to pay $150 to get a decent amount of storage.

If you're coming from any other phone other than the Note 10+ it's a no brainier to get/keep the 20 Ultra especially since the 20 Is a better deal than the Note 10 with trade in specials and free accessories. But I would not recommend upgrading to the 20 Ultra if you have the 10+.

With that said I'm leaning towards keeping the 20 because I don't want to wait another year to upgrade. The zoom on this camera should keep my interest for a little while until the S21 is announced and then time for an upgrade again to the Note 21/30.

I don't get people's complaints with the stylus on the left side. It allows for the volume and power buttons which are used far more than the stylus to be moved to where they should be the right side...at least for right handed people which is most. I love the stylus but only use it on occasion so it's ok to swap sides with the buttons so that they are on the right side.

Sooooo disappointed. Was so excited to get my Note 20 Ultra and when it arrived yesterday I was really disappointed with the camera. Pictures are overexposed and washed out looking AND the AR Emoji on my Note 8 was much better too. Think I'll be returning. I don't like iPhones but the camera is a huge feature for me and I just haven't had Samsung that has lived up to my expectations. 😕 Sigh.

I, too feel like I am experiencing a faster battery drain on my Note 20 Ultra than I did on my Galaxy Note 10 Plus. I suspect that it's either the 120 HZ screen or the 5G radio. I'm leaning toward believing that it's the 5G radio because I live in a T-Mobile 5G coverage area and when I connected to Wi-Fi, the battery drain felt slower.

Update your software first and try again. My camera shots look great.

This was always going to be an issue with the battery, more so with the Exynos 990. With the upgrades that Samsung did, 120hz refresh, slightly bigger screen, brighter screen, bigger camera, the phone was crying out for a bigger battery.

That said, I am currently testing the Huawei Mate XS which folds from a 6.6 to 8 inch screen, has pretty much all of the Note 20 Ultra spec, of course not the Pen, but still has a 4500mah battery and that easily lasts all day with lots of usage thrown in. I am surprised that some of the Snapdragon 865+ users are struggling for battery, maybe the 865+ chipset is asking too much as it's basically an overclocked 865.

Give the camera a chance, I tried it against the Huawei Mate XS in a few different scenarios and mostly the Note came on top, but in low light the Mate XS was killing it. Different phones have different camera highlights, the Note 20 Ultra camera is obviously a different camera to the previous Note 10+ so need to be experimented with, I appreciate most users need a straight up point and shoot camera so it's not going to be for everyone.

My Note 10+ 5G has served me well since launch but it's time to upgrade not because I need to but because I want to and purposely save disposable income to fund my purchases.

No point being the richest man in the cemetery ;)

Right?! You "Floss"in' like that. Treat yourself, don't cheat yourself! 😎😉

Haha. I just wanted the phone 📱👍I have 2 ex. But they don't get squat from me. (cheaters) Now about that free phone again...

Battery performance opinion. Don't judge anything batteries performance until you discharge and recharge several times. The battery has to learn as well as the battery optimizer...

I own a note 10+ and after using the Note 20 ultra for two days, I didn't see enough to convince me to ditch the 10+.

The 20 ultra is a great phone but it was little things that bothered me.

- No pre-installed screen protector. I don't want to deal with this especially on a curve display. The dome glass seems to be the only really good solution but its a huge pain to install and get it right. Then i usually end up getting webbing on the side and have to do it again

- The pen on the left side. Its weird and bothers me.

- Camera makes noises when i move phone sometimes. Sounds cheap and annoys me on such a expensive device.

- The camera bump is ok but I wonder about exposure to damages because its a big surface area.

I also find it strange why they switched the S-Pen location, but this is definitely better than my Note 10+. I'll only say what I liked more about the Note 10+ was the battery life, seemed a bit better, but everything else is way better! This screen seems way more sharp than my Note 10+ and wireless Dex is awesome!!

Nope Keeping it , My Note10 Plus is Awesome But The Note20 Ultra it's just way better in my opinion , so will keep all 3 of my Note20 Ultras.
