anyone else run into this glitch?

my note 3 keeps buzzing me whenever i turn it on saying i have new messages when in reality i don't...and it's getting annoying

my note 3 keeps buzzing me whenever i turn it on saying i have new messages when in reality i don't...and it's getting annoying

I've seen this happen when I have restored data from another device. You can try clearing it out by having someone send you a text or sending yourself another text. You can also go into your Application manager and clear out the SMS data.

Before you do anything though, make sure you have a backup of all the messages you'd like to keep.

I've had someone send me a text after this started and it didn't solve it
