Anyone else still rocking an S9?

I've been holding out for years, as my device has been working superbly since the day I bought it outright at Best Buy in 2018. Thought about an N20U or ZF2 but I can't justify spending all that $ to replace something that's working just fine. Wondering who else out there still has theirs and uses it on the daily.

Still have my S9+ and it's working fine for me. Maybe 2021 I'll replace it but so far all is good.

I have the S9+ which I purchased from Best Buy and it's still running great. It's finally paid off (last payment was December and Verizon is my carrier) and I will keep it for a few more years. Since it's running great and since these phones are so expensive.....I'll be keeping mine for a few more years as long as it's running well.

I still have a S9. However I had to replace it about six weeks ago due to the battery swelling and pushing the case apart. Up until then it was working fine. Since the replacement phone is "like new" I don't think I will be getting a different phone anytime soon.

So glad you are safe after that battery swelled! Tbat could have been very dangerous! That's great that you got a like-new S9!

Yeah. That was the second time that happened to me. It also happened with my S6 about four years ago. Fortunately then and now I had the extended warranty so I got a replacement free.

The S9 purple was one of my favorite Samsung devices. Probably 2nd favorite after the S7 edge in Blue.
I currently have the green S20 FE and a Black A71 5G. But I still think the S9 was the perfect sized phone.

I agree about the S9. It was definitely a device that caught my eye. The S8 and S9 were definitely two devices that I considered. I bet the green S20 FE is beautiful!

I just don't see anything out there that excites me enough to spend that much $. Perhaps the next Z Fold will do it, don't see the S21 being worthwhile.

At MSRP all of these are expensive. I only indulge in them because there are always loopholes available to.pay far less than retail. The most I have paid new for a Samsung is about $420 for the S10+ at launch.

I too think the next Z Fold is the foldable phone to watch for, when the technology is better.

Agreed, I see foldable phones going in the right direction, just not there yet. I've also been checking out the N20U, which I think is a beast of a phone.

I agree! With new tech like that, it's best to wait a bit until it's more perfected. The Note 20U sounds pretty great!

Still using my S9.

Although I've learned to live with it the past 2 years, I really don't like the curved sides.

Depending on how the rest of this year goes, I hope to get the S20 FE early next year.

My Lilac S9+ has been a great phone but plan to upgrade. Waiting to see the S21 line and decide between it or the Note 20 Ultra.

After much reluctance, I decided to pick up a OP8T, primarily for its dual sim functionality. So far so good, it's really a smooth device and I'm excited to put it through the ringer. Still unsure as to whether or not I'm keeping it, as I miss my S9, but having this phone solves the issue of having to carry two devices (work/personal).

My wife still uses her S9+ and she is still happy with it. Her Android history was mostly the active line from Samsung then she moved on to the S9+ 3 years ago and so far she has no interest in upgrading.
