Anyone get their $50 google play credit for purchasing their note

Make me wonder if you put in your email correctly. My email came within 5 minutes.

It was actually my auto fill that put it in. I checked the auto fill and it is right. If this is the case a lot of people must have not put their email in right because I wasn't the only one.
I have a feeling this is going to take a customer service call.. Man I hate customer service calls!

I completed the form around 2am PST and got my email with the redemption code a couple minutes later. Redeemed it and got my $50 credit, no problem.

My coworkers filled out their forms around noon (10 hours later) and have yet to receive any email with a redemption code.

It should not take that long for you to get the email.

You may want to do it ASAP. They're only giving out the $50 credit once they reach $60,000 collectively, and I've heard some unscrupulous people are registering the same IMEI with bogus numbers and getting multiple credits. Hopefully no one here would sink so low.

Yes. If you didn't get a followup email with a redemption code to redeem at the Play Store, that means you did not get the $50 credit. At this point, the confirmation code alone is worthless.

Seems like Samsung found a new way to collect information. They got the information they wanted at the price they set and did not overpay for stale reports.

I really wanted that 50$ credit

But could not react quickly enough

I don't mind sharing certain info if they are willing to pay. ;-)

I was wondering the same thing. On my desktop I went to Google Play, picked an app and start the checkout process (I picked something I plan on buying just in case I clicked once too many times!) on the last step when it asks for payment the credit shows up and is an option to pay for the app.

After logging into the play store, I went to settings then redeem and plugged in my code. There was confirmation there, and when I click on a paid app, it gives me a balance.

For those that are upset, I made mention of the fact that there was a limited amount of credit available in my original post, so while it is a shame that some people were gaming the system with fake IMEI numbers (although you have to wonder if maybe they were just trolling at this point), there's no use crying over spilled milk. One can sympathize though. A few months ago Verizon's website allowed people to keep their unlimited data plan while upgrading. My phone's screen cracked not even 1 hour after Verizon's website was fixed, so I know exactly how you feel, although instead of $50, I missed out on about $300 (difference in paying full retail over paying upgrade price).
