Anyone getting a watch to go with their Note 8

Thought about getting the Gear Fit 2 Pro but the Note was just a little too expensive for me to go spending again anytime soon.

I also have the LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE and never really use the LTE features because I always have my phone with me. The LTE also kills the battery. I guess it would come in handy if you lose your phone and still be able to make a phone call with the watch but IMO, it's not worth the extra monthly payment.

I have the T-Mobile LTE S3 Frontier. I very rarely use the watch to make calls but for 5 bucks a month, I figure in case of emergency it's not a bad thing to have.

Got in on the Kickstarter for the Ticwatch S, anxious to see how it goes! Currently have a Garmin VivoSmart which has "some" notifications but anxious to have a real smartwatch.

I wish I could get a S3 Frontier LTE in Canada :S

I upgraded from a Garmin Vivoactive to a Garmin Fenix 5S fairly recently and love it, although I don't use it for fitness I like the always on screen and decent batterylife. It may not do anything fancy but it's extremely handy being able to check notifications at a glance and the music interface for the phone is pretty handy too.

It's one of my main issues that a new phone is fully stable with the watch, there was a dodgy firmware for the Note 4 which was caused regular BT drops leaving the watch next to useless.

I loved my Microsoft Band 2 when it worked (battery problems on 2 of them). Within 30 min of my alarm going off, it would track my heart rate and monitor my movement to make sure I wasn't in the middle of R.E.M. sleep.
I'm in the market for a new phone and ran across the Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro, which looks like it is similar in style as the Band 2, since I have small wrists.

I highly recommend looking at the Garmin fitness trackers. I use the Garmin Fenix 5s and it has alarms. Pricey but worth every penny. Thanks.

Can't the Note 8 connect multiple S3 watches at the same time? I don't want to reset each watch anytime I want to switch watches.

The phone might be able to buy the watch can't, tried yesterday turned off current connected phone then tried pairing on the watch to New connection and it totally reset itself

Gonna dust off my MOTO 360 to use with it. I tried to use it with my Phab 2 Pro but it wouldn't seem to stay connected.

I already have Gear S3 Frontier and I love it Tizen is the bomb.com. I may just get a few more watch bands just to celebrate the new addition to the Samsung family.

I currently have the old school Gear 2 with the camera, but I do plan to get the Gear S3 Frontier. Just waiting for the price to drop down to $250 or less.

My Gear 2 Neo is getting sluggish. I had to reset the watch to work with the Note 8. I don't know if I *need* to upgrade today, but I thought since there are more Note 8 users, I'd bring this back up so I can research other options.

Samsung gear s3 frontier is really nice. Has all of the featured of the Apple watch so it was a nice change for this Apple switcher.

All of the Android smartwatches seem pretty awful compared to the Apple Watch. Most are HUGE and/or ugly. Subjective, I know. Just an observation.

I got the gear s3 when i picked up my phone Friday. I'd say it looks pretty sharp and I absolutely love it. Never been a watch wearer, but I could get used to this.

I bought the S3 Frontier lte and Classic when they first came out and used them with my S7 Edge, now using both with my Note 8 and loving the experience still.

The gear s3 frontier is great. I had it with my 8 plus and now the Note 8. Love using samsung pay on it. Very nice.
