Anyone getting an error trying to process the 6/30/15 upgrade on the Verizon G4?

I've tried about 5 times now to run the upgrade. It downloads, reboots (after I select Install Now), gets about 5 or 6% through the upgrade and then pops up a big error message that goes away too fast to read. It then reboots itself and give me a notification message that says "system update unsuccessful, please try again or you can upgrade using the "Software Upgrade Assistant on your PC." I tried the Upgrade Assistant (it's a Verizon product), and when I use that nothing happens...no upgrade and no failure messages.

My G4 is stock with no apps removed or frozen.

Any ideas?

Contact Verizon. I had a htc phone that wouldn't take an upgrade. Verizon did some troubleshooting and sent me a warranty replacement

The verizon people (in the store) don't even know about an upgrade and suggested I call tech support.

I did get Verizon's Software Upgrade Assistant working, but it shows my software version (VS98610B) as being current (though I think the latest version ends in 11A). I'm wondering if Verizon might be rolling out the update by area or phone numbers, and not supposed to get it yet? I don't know. I did try 2 factory resets and still get an error running it as a an OTA.

As said earlier, contact Verizon customer service (tech support). If you were supposed to have gotten the update but didn't then they will help you get the update or send you a replacement. If not then they will tell you to wait a few days or whatever

Got on the phone with tier 2 tech support at Verizon who then got LG on the line as well (man I LOVE Verizon customer service!!!). LG said to send the phone back. Since I only had it 4 days, the Verizon guy put a note in my file to replace the device with a new one and told me to head back to the store. They gave me a new phone (no restocking fee) and the software update went perfectly. Just in case anyone else runs into this problem, the actual error that I got after the failed upgrade (to version 11A) install was: Err: 0x1123004.
