Not exactly. They are backordered at Samsung an you CAN NOT ORDER ONE until they come back in stock, then they say they will email you and you will have an opportunity to order one.

With my Note 3, I had good results with aftermarket/clone batteries. I had clone battereries for about 10 months. They didn't even blink. Going with the same this time. Some may questioned putting el cheapo clone batteries in such an expensive machine. However, they work for me.

Most likely I will get two sets of clone batteries.. Waiting for the Anker and Caseology to put something out there. In the meantime, I will used these from China.. 3 batteries plus charger..

Which batteries did you order for the Note 3? I'm still rocking that and want more batteries.

It isn't useless for everyone. I love being able to swap and stay mobile.

I know it isn't useless was trying to make a funny ; -) My point being the battery so good I never get to use it.

I couldn't wait for Samsung cuz of the backorder, so I got one at Best Buy yesterday; took 3 hours for the 1st charge. I am a happy camper now.

The email I received from Samsung states that the code is good for 90 days from the date of the email. See below:

About 2 hours and 20 mins. I'm using my note 3 power block with a USB 2.0 cord obviously.

So I've been holding out waiting for 3rd party batteries because they're more bang for your buck but they are taking forever! I may give in and buy Samsung I guess :/

This happened with the Galaxy S5 too. I contacted Samsung just before the 90 day deadline and was told if my code didn't work after they finally got the charger in stock, to simply call and place the order and the tech will take care of it. However I didn't have to since my code worked a month and a half after the "90 days". Of course by then I saw the Note 4 and now back in the same position waiting for the spare battery/charger to be in stock and hope my Note code works past 90 days.

Is this worth getting if I'm using a case? I've read that most/some of the cases out have been scratching the metal and replacing the battery too often would probably make it worse. Any thoughts?

for those who came from older Samsung phones and had some codes archived. I can tell you that 90-day expiration is false. I can still use my code when I bought my S5.

Honestly probably not. I stopped using my case since I swap batteries so often, over time I could see how a case could easily scratch the metal with all the times I would of taken it off/on. I'm aware I'll get scratches by not using a case but I'm just extra careful and figure I'll take my chances.

I had to message the Samsung Support Team on their FB page to get mine. They were very helpful and sent it right along after I sent my serial #. Bad news was the external charger I want has been in backorder for weeks and they won;t accept an order until it's back in stock.
