Anyone have a daily user review?

I use it all the time in public.

I find it completely wonderful, although I have big hands ( I found the 3.8" screen of my mytouch 4g too annoying). It is so nice to be able to comfortably read without the phone being 1 foot away from my face. GPS is a dream.

Oh, and the general public doesn't seem to notice or care that I have a large phone.
I guess that's what happens when people wave around 10" tablets all the time.

AT&T 4G speeds are great.

I love it.

The resolution and screen size make it a joy to use for browsing and viewing media.

Battery life is really good thanks to the 2500mah battery. As stated above, the GPS locks in really quick and I had 14 locked GPS earlier today.

It is slightly awkward to use one handed, but my hands aren't that big.

Also, we do have a valid warranty.. Just spoke to Samsung USA, they can help with technical support and if the device needed to be sent in we could send it to Samsung UK for repairs.

Have you decided between the Galaxy Nexus ot the Galaxy Note? The price on that link is 709 today. Earlier this week it was 740 or so!!! If it drops below 700 I might have to pull the trigger! lol!

I want to but I can't see myself paying 700 bucks for a phone that can't even get on 4G (HSPA+) network...ya know.

I just got mine from TechnoTradingHouse.com but my 3G is not working, I am waiting for their response on this. I also found this information about 3G on their website

ATT 3G on Galaxy Note

..but i do not understand these things, so might need to send my note back to them to get the required settings done. Will update you.

So far I like their service, Paid for overnight shipping and got in time.

Are you on ATT post paid account? Just follow each step to put in the new APN settings.

Thanks guys! Quick question though, I thought we wouldn't get 4G speeds on the Note, only 3G?

I want to get from this company:

Samsung Galaxy Note 16GB Factory Unlocked New - TECHNO.TRADING.HOUSE

Are they reliable? They were emailing me back today very fast.
Howdy,

Did you end up buying from technotradinghouse.com? How was it. I just checked and they seem to have solicon case and screen protectors as well. ... I am still not undecided.

And also they have these extended warranties. Do you think I need to buy that ? It is not too expensive .. any suggestions will help.

I bought my first one  from techno.trading.house, and the second one from imobilephonex, who shipped it all the way around the world to my doorstep in just 3 days, which impressed me a lot. They also included a 32GB card and the price was actually *less* than my first one.

I have a silicon case & car charger coming from fantasy.bid, but it hasn't come yet (hence the need for a second Galaxy Note... do NOT drop yours you will cry like I did) so I can't comment on them (except that their shipping is not as fast... lol)

FWIW, here in Canada the HSPA+ "just works" right out of the box; I'm not sure if somehow it picked up Rogers' APN settings from the network/SIM or what but I didn't have to plug the APN details like I've had to when wiping my previous phone (original Galaxy S Vibrant from Bell)

Just can't say enough how much I love this phone - yeah, enough to buy a second while I figure out how to ship the first off to Samsung UK to have the screen replaced! Web browsing and Remote Desktop are finally usable for long-ish periods without wishing I had a computer nearby. No desire to pick up a Nook Color or other tablet anymore, my phone does it all.

Also appreciate that Samsung has added niceties to it's latest Gingerbread build on this phone (at least, that weren't found on my Galaxy S) like the ICS-style mini-icons on folders, and the alphabet quick-buttons down the right side when scrolling through all your apps (kinda like what you see in your contacts list to jump to contacts starting with any given letter) and the MUCH improved calendar app, even with a full-screen widget if you want it on a home screen.

ICS upgrade will be welcome, but honestly I don't pine for it, this phone works SO nicely. Games and movies go without saying, much better on the bigger screen. Just had to mention it :D

Well that's my experience so far, wouldn't trade it for anything so far!

Well this is my first Android Phone.

So far i love it.

I'm not really sure about 4G connection, coz i dont think my country already set it right but out of the box i get H+ connection which actually it's a 3G connection gonna write when all set right here.

My Experience so far this device is flawless, i use it for work, use it for media and all work fine. Experiencing auto reboot twice but it's okay maybe the way i'm using it not right.

Once you put your hand in Galaxy Note you'll know why you don't need other phone..

I don't pine for ICS either. I am not eager for any OS that will effectively reduce the size of this brilliant screen for a minor and subjective trade-off in performance.
