Anyone have a problem with the Google feed on Moto Z?

My husband and I both have Moto Z. The feed on mine is perfect. The stories swipe away and the widget brings in sports scores, etc. and the menu is the three buttons in the top left corner. However, on my husbands, the menu is a bar on the buttom...nothing swipes away and nothing but the weather appears in the widget. Our apps are almost identical and both phones updated. I've tried everything.

You're not alone. The Google feed is completely useless on my Galaxy S9+. I've set it up to send me notifications for weather, commuting and reminders. The homescreen widget remains blank (no weather card, no upcoming appointments... nothing), and I never receive time-to-leave notifications. I've given up on it ever working correctly.

Probably server side, and not uncommon.

Probably server side, and not uncommon.

That's unfortunate. When the Assistant works, it's miles ahead of Siri. On my GS9+, it only works for voice dialing, messaging, navigation and general-knowledge questions.
