I DL to my CPU and also to my phone. Now what? My phone is saying it doesn't have an application to open the file. My CPU is asking me to select a program to open the file. I am a total noob at this so you will have to forgive me.
1. Are you rooted? If not, do that first.
2. Download "rom manager" from the android market.
3. Click "flash clockworkmod recovery" at the very top.
4. Go further down to "backup current rom" and do that. It will reboot into recovery mode and do all that.
This is called a "nandroid backup"-for future reference.
5. When your phone restarts go back into rom manager click "install rom from sd card". Navigate to where you place the .zip file you download. Click that. A dialogue box will pop up. Check "wipe data and cache" and "wipe dalvik cache, then press ok.
6. It'll now reboot into recovery mode and flash the zip, then reboot. This'll probably take about 10-15 mins.
7. When it starts up, type in your google account information then you're all done.
It obviously has some bugs (it's a beta).
I DIDN'T MAKE YOU FLASH THIS SO ITS YOUR OWN FAULT IN THE RARE CHANCE SOMETHING BAD HAPPENS TO YOUR PHONE!!
