Anyone having trouble with Smart Lock under Android O?

[AC Question]

I have O running on a Nexus 6p as well as a Pixel C.
I primarily use the "trusted place" option mostly because I'm home most of the day. I still am having to re-enter password more than 5 times a day on the Pixel C and at least 2 times a day on the 6p. If Smart Lock is not the issue the phone and/or tablet must be shutting down and restarting multiple times a day. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

I used the beta on a Google Pixel and the Bluetooth device option didn't work with my car (Toyota Prius) it did work with Nougat
