anyone having trouble with yahoo mail?

Me too, started a few weeks ago. So.....

I got to yahoo on the internet, access the mail there. That works fine.

I complained yahoo said it is the new improved invisible email. They say its more secure

Same here. Also there looks to be an ad on the bottom of the email that's "powered by Yahoo" I don't know what that's about.

I just use there mobile site as the app never turned off and you could not keep it from running... at least I couldn't...

I noticed that this problem started around the time that those started appearing at the bottom of some emails.

If i ck mail from desktop widget mail it is blank. If i go to app drawer n click in it, i always see mail.

Also make sure that under each account you go into the settings > send receive options > UNCHECK Auto Download Message! This is a simple fix (May even work for NON ROOTED USERS)

This worked for me!!! I was left with the "Get remaining (2K)" bar at the bottom. As long as I don't click on it I'm good. And so will you. :D

Yahoo has been stable for the last few days....... Wonder what they fixed?

Yahoo mail has had issues reported here for the ThunderBolt since March 19th, two days after release date. If you do a search in this forum you will find ~22 Yahoo Mail hits/complaint threads. Nothing new with this thread. Basically, everyone recommends downloading the Yahoo mail program. Other than that, most everyone blames the whole Yahoo email fiasco on Yahoo.

Personally, I don't use Yahoo on my ThunderBolt. So... I'm just the messenger. Thought some people would like to know. Check out the search on Yahoo.

Agreed. The "fix" for it as of right now is to download the Yahoo Mail app. I got my TB back in December and it didn't come with Yahoo mail so i never had those problems. I haven't had a problem with the Yahoo Mail app (knock on wood).
