Anyone here not using a screen protector for their Note 8?

I have never used a screen protector. they're ugly and pointless IMO.

I wouldn't agree with that now, if a good one is installed properly you will not really notice it and for someone maybe relying on resale value of it to subsidise the price of their next phone it's a good idea.
I have someone paying me 300 for my over 2 year old Note 4 because it looks like new and that makes a fair difference as I paid over 900 for the Note 8

I've been using the same screen protector since September. I have no lifting, no interference with the screen, and no discoloration.

I could have sworn this thread was about not using a screen protector.
Yeah, I've been looking through it and have only seen lots of recommendations for the use of screen protectors... I got a screen protector at the Verizon store when I bought the phone and in two weeks the corner started to peel. I didn't realize it was doing this until I noticed the lack of sensitivity when trying to drag the notification bar down. Since then I ripped it off and have rocked it without one.

I personally can't stand seeing micro scratches on my screen - and once I see one and know it's there, it drives my OCD into overdrive. So - Whitestone Dome for me. Feels just as good as naked (to me) and no pulling up or sensitivity issues for me in over six weeks or more of having my phone (I installed the day it arrived).

That's the one I'm going to check out. Using a Zagg InvisibleShield Glass Curve right now with mixed feelings and results. Once I get sick of it, I'm getting a Whitestone Dome.

No sir. Life is too short for screen protectors. Gotta feel the glass.

I'm using a screen protector which is fantastic in terms of touch sensitivity and well, staying on the screen itself. In using a TPU case with it as well. But for some weird reason there's dust slowly migrating across the screen underneath it. It's very weird but this is the only one that actually seems to work fine otherwise. I've got dust creeping in slowly but it works just fine even now. Wonder how "Liquid glass" will hold up? Anyone tried that? If read that if it's not put on properly, it could cause a mess and there's no easy way to take it off. Thoughts?

I had the Whitestone Dome on my phone, but it lifted at the bottom when I put on my Alcantera case. I removed it and put on one of the liquid nano tech wipe on protectors to hopefully keep the micro scratches at bay. So far, so good. It's been about 3 weeks.

Which one did you buy? Can you post the link of it please?

Tempered glass won't work. Go with vinyl, Ghost Armor. Always fit perfectly. Expensive but never any issues. They offer both regular and case friendly variants.

I had a screen protector on my S8 and now I have one on my N8. The one I got is tempered glass and comes with an installation guide, which is basically a plastic piece that fits over the phone and allows you to perfectly place the protector. I have not had issue with either device.

After many failed attempts with both glass and "vinyl" protectors, I now have the Whitestone Dome on my phone and after 3 weeks it still looks and performs great. I am also sporting the Lohasic clear case which doesn't interfere with the screen protector at all.

I use White Done for my Note 8. It's takes a second to put on but it works great. Doesn't dull the screen or lessen sensitivity or brightness.

I tried 2 brands of tempered glass, not terrible but typical results. I tried a plastic one that came as a promo for the Spigen case I bought. Seemed nice but I hated the feeling. Then I forked over the money for Whitestone Dome which I had never heard of before. After watching the install video I purchased one, and it works great with a tough case on. I had one minor issue with glue, but they sent me a free redo. I will use it when I feel this one is too messed up. I know it's more expensive than your typical glass but I figured for a $1000 phone this was worth it.
