Anyone interested in the S10e for size alone?

I have my right thumb registered twice, then my left and right index fingers registered. It does work flawlessly—when my thumb covers it entirely. The problem is, without thinking about how I'm placing my thumb, I'm not usually covering the full scanner when I just casually toss it up there. I've actually had more luck unlocking by wrapping my left index finger around.

I just need to be more mindful and in my place my thumb. It'll be me habit eventually. You'd think I'd be able to effortlessly get it right every time.

I'm sure with practice it'll all work out!

If the S10e had the third camera lense like the other two, I definitely would have went with it. 6 gigs of RAM is PLENTY for what 99% of us need and have to do. The smaller screen offsets the lower resolution. S10e is a perfectly sized phone with more than enough features to satiate just about anyone, save for socialites. I can see it easily becoming Samsung's most popular smartphone yet.

But the sales is not as good as s10 and s10 plus? I heard that.

I feel like a lot of users really go for the phablet models, so the fact that the S10e does have lesser sales compared to its bigger brothers is unsurprising. But I think it will do well in its own right. There are still a few of us small-phone junkies out there who will wait to to snag it! Plus with the $200-ish dip in price compared to the S10/10+, I'm sure it will be eye-catching for that reason, as well.

Personally, before I buy it I'll look at the S10 and see if I'll be able to hold it comfortably in the hand. I'm really interested in the S10e for the size and for the side fingerprint scanner.

I'm rather shocked the S10E isn't selling like hotcakes. It fits in perfectly in being far more than a midrange phone could be with features that are found on the 2 more expensive models. Same processors and same main camera lense. It is what I went for if not for just a couple things.

That's one thing I love about the S10e - it's basically a smaller S10. There's no sacrificing. I guess there's one less camera lens or something like that but it's still a very capable camera.

So, I finally got a chance to hold an S10e in my hands today at the mall... And I loved it. It felt great in the hand. I can't believe it's 5.8"! I tried holding the S10 too. It feels alright but it's a little on the large side. The S10 Plus was purely a no-go! I really love the S10e. And I liked the camera! I took some sample shots - but it's a little hard to tell quality based off of a spec sheet. 🤣

I used the S8 for 2 years. Loved the phone, but hated how tall it was. Really enjoying the S10e. Great phone & just the right size. S8 will be taken over by my wife.

Interesting, I didn't realize the 10e model has a flat screen until I read this thread. My S9 is the first curved screen phone for me. After a couple month's usage, I must say that although it "looks" cool, the curved screen is not useful in any way that I can think of. Instead, it's been an annoyance when trying to crop a screenshot image to the edges and reading text heavy material. Is there any benefit/usefulness for a curved screen?

Makes the phone narrower.

I've always wondered how well do hotcakes sell?

Out of curiosity, I went to a local store to check out the 10e. The phone looks slightly smaller than my S9, is it my imagination? The 10e doesn't stand out as being anything extra special versus my S9. Yes, I noticed the 10e flat screen, but beyond that, I wasnt wowed in any way.

Easily the S10e wowed me from the note 9 which is sitting in the drawer. Flat screen FPR its size and all is perfect in my application. Speed, and several other things are top notch with this phone. 8/256 has been perfect in every way. The 2 phones I have returned in the last SEVERAL years S9+, S10+, so for now I swap between the S10e and the Note 9. Thats how I roll!

It is smaller than the S9 in height but slightly wider.

I just went to bestbuy and picked up the s10e unlocked 8gb/256gb version. They have it in sale for $550. I still have a s10+, but I really miss have a small phone.

This thing is powerful. My 1st charge was 13 hours off the charger and over 6 hours sot. Well see if it gets better. For now I'll keep this phone.

The 10e and iPhone xs are both 5.8” but the 10e is noticeably smaller, how does that work?
I think it's because there's more screen on the S10e. In my experience, I had the X and it (S10e) generally feels better with it being a smaller phone.

I think it's a bit wider plus flat screened so it's the same size just shorter, wider and probably better to type on.

THe s8. s9 were tall and narrow, I have the Note 9 and it's a drag in a sense but the weight alone you feel when you carry it around, the s10e is about 50 grams lighter than the note 9.

Most of us just want huge phones with big screens but no one does anything productive with them really.

If I were to get a new Samsung phone, I'd opt for the S10e, since I prefer a flat screen, rather than a curved screen. I also prefer a phone that is slightly wider but not extremely tall.

Thing is that you don't want a phone too wide else it's hard to hold. So if you want a bigger screen, what do you do? Make it taller.

Personally I like tall screens so i can read more content on a page, especially when using in conjunction with the on screen keyboard.
