Anyone keeping Note 3?

Lots of little things, and some not so little: huge upgrade to camera, metal frame, slightly better battery life, quick charging and fingerprint scanner to name a few.

I guess "HUGE" is in the eye of the beholder. 16MP camera versus a 13MP camera doesn't seem huge.
How does a metal frame versus a metal appearing frame change the user experience considering 90% of users will place the Note 3 and Note 4 in a case?.

In my view those who are planning to give up their Note 3 for the Note 4 are similar to car owners selling their 32MPG car and replacing it with for one that gets 34MPG.

A half-dozen small improvements do not add up to a significantly different user experience.
They might be important for those who just must have the latest for other reason.

I'm keeping mine unless they come up with a really interesting promo and financing. The features didn't blow my mind, and to me, the only upgrade from the Note 3 would be the screen. So, for now, I'm keeping my trusty Note 3.

Ditto

It's not just megapixels that determine the quality of the pictures. You have more MP, OIS, larger sensor and aperture. Those to me add up as a huge update to the camera. You have to remember this is still a Note. It's not going to be drastic in terms of changes year to year.
All of these little updates combined make for a better phone.

So what your saying is it would probably be better to wait for the note 5 if your using a note 3 now, would be a better upgrade. The note 4 would be more noticeable improvement coming from a note 2. Makes sense, upgrade every 2 years to get more bang for your buck to improvements.

I for one love my note 3, I am intrigued by the note 4 and note edge, but since I'm happy with my note 3, I might wait till after Christmas to get one, if I get one. Gives me a chance to see how others are liking the note 4 while I'm happy with my note 3. That's how I feel now anyway.

I am going to try and get a replacement for my Note 3 for reception issues. If that fixes it, I will be more confident that the Note 4 won't have any issues. I have always thought that most people upgrade every 2 years, not every year. Going up 2 phone updates will always have a better bang for the buck. I think manufacturers have that thought in mind as well. Hardcore upgraders will always find a way to justify an upgrade. I am currently on EDGE, so if I agree to stay with Verizon, it makes sense to upgrade every year.

I`m very fortunate that I have 3 contracts with TMobile (one for my brother and 2 for me)which are subject to a 50% reduction in monthly plan price as my Wife used to work for TM(think its called friends and family discount here in the UK) but even though I`m due a free upgrade on one of my accounts I`m sticking with my N3 for the time being.I just dont think that the N4 is much of an upgrade in comparison to my N3.Theres no way I`d be tempted to go to the Dark Side as I`m more than happy with what I have and what it can do for me...don`t get me wrong I`m really a techie geek at heart but I feel that my upgrade would be wasted on the N4. As many have said,I`m still learning and enjoying what I have, when I`m bored or feel that the N3 can take me no further then I`ll change but for me, the N3 is still an extremely capable phone and I for one just love it

I'm sticking with the N3 for at least another 6mths or so. Partly to get my money's worth out of it and also (as I've posted here before) because the N4 just isn't different enough to justify the cost for me. I'm a bit underwhelmed by the difference between the two devices.

I'm keeping my Note 3 as well, which was bought in February of this year. I even just bought a Skinomi tempered glass and another Spigen Neo Hybrid case. The Note 4 is nice from what I have read but being on AT&T Next I will be responsible and pay down my Note 3. I am happy with it.

Not to mention the improvement with the s pen features

If I can get the Note 4 for the 2 year contract price, I'd switch, but I don't know how I would if I'm not eligible yet, so probably keeping the Note 3.

Are you kidding? Just bought an almost new note 3 from a used hardware shop here in Japan. Liking it though. Sold my note 2 which I bought 3 months ago. Great deal, think I'll be upgrading my phones this way.

Think I'll stick with my Note 3 for now, the Note 4 Edge seems a little gimmicky for my liking and my Note 3 does all I want it to. It doesn't make we wann upgrade to the 4 just yet.

Got a Note 3 as weekend for a really cheap price, still a year left on my contract so gonna get the "Note 5" if it exists.

I am thinking of upgrading around Christmas time from my GNote3 to the GNote4 as a gift to myself.

I like my Note 3 ever since I found Nova Prime. Touchwiz is just bad and ugly as sin.

The speed is decent, though the camera sucks compared to my wife's old iPhone 5, which makes absolutely no sense to me since it's several generations newer. Also the speaker SUCKS. I'm thinking also that this screen size is really too big for me. Sure I've gotten used to it, but the next phone I get must be able to be operated with one hand. I could also do without the hardware button. That's so 2007/iPhone lol. Seriously though I'm just waiting for it to fail.

I'm looking at the new Moto X. I think 5-5.2" is probably the biggest I'd want. Too bad everyone's just making giant phones now...

I prefer the physical home button rather than the onscreen buttons because they take up screen real estate. Not cool!

I kinda want to get the s5. The only reason I didn't get it in the first place was because it was only 16 gigs.

Yeah the lack of a 32gb model put me off as well, especially since the sd card is so restricted with kit Kat.
