Anyone keeping Note 3?

My understanding is ois relates to the camera which is the least important part for a phone to me. I never had an issue with the N3 screen or power so display and processor didn't strike me as important improvements. Each to thEir own I suppose
The Note 4 is noticeably faster. The screen resolution isn't noticeably better however. Of course it looks great, but I can't really tell the difference in clarity. The feel of the Note 4 is a huge improvement over the Note 3. It's just put together better.

Just looked at the Note 4 at a T-Mobile store yesterday. I was surprised to see that the top and bottom bezels are bigger than the Note 3. Don't recall reading that anywhere or noticing in photo comparisons. It reminded me of the new iPhone bezels which are huge (to hold that round button). For now, I am keeping my 3. I love getting new phones and keeping up with the latest versions but I too will wait for some huge savings or till the 5 is out. I'm sure I would get used to the larger bezels if I wasn't comparing the two side by side. I also like the silver ear speaker of the Note 3 over the white paint on the 4.

I'm getting the Note 4 soon but will certainly keep the Note 3 as my secondary phone since I've 2 lines (sorry S4 will have to go). My Note 3 is still in tip top condition & I had invested a lot in accessories such as protective cases, screen tempered glass & even Anker high capacity 6400 mAh battery with cases/belt clip!

I'll keep Note 3 until such time when Samsung releases Note 5! :)

Are you sure about that assessment of the screen resolution? I was blown away when I saw the note 4. .

Maybe youve gotten used to looking at the note 4 screen.

I know it's not a note 3, but my friend showed me his Galaxy Mega phone yesterday, which I believe was 720p screen only. Couldn't believe how pixilated and blurry everything looked. Guess I've gotten used to the note 4' awesome screen!

Compared to the 1080p screen of the Note 3, no I couldn't really see much of a difference. But then again, I didn't have the Note 3 to compare. When I picked up the Note 4, I didn't immediately think that the screen was such a big improvement over the previous generation.

I agree with this so far. I only played with a note 4 for a few minutes with my Note 3 side by side. Held at arms length and just zipping through apps, not much difference. However, when viewing those HD sample videos and pictures, wow, qhd is pretty amazing. But for the most part, not much difference. However, still ordered the note 4!

There is indeed difference but probably to some the difference is subtle. It's best to bring your Note 3 & make a side by side comparison.

Open the WiFi Direct on both phones to make a connection. After that, select the UHD video sample (I prefer the Food sample which give you good clarity of color & texture) from the Note 4 & send it to Note 3 through WiFi Direct sharing.

Prior to playing the video sample, ensure both phones display settings (screen mode & brightness) are similar. :-)

*Btw, I also copied the video UHD samples into my Galaxy Tab S 8.4 & it's totally awesome! :-)
