Anyone know how to remove the at&t bookmark from chrome?

I usually use the bookmarks view and keep getting defaulted to that folder when I launch chrome otherwise it wouldn't be an issue.

Seems like you can't uninstall chrome and reinstall from the play store, but a workaround is to install Chrome Beta.

Saw an XDA post for this issue on Verizon phones and you could disable this service, but it looks like that is not an option on my AT&T One

I'm unlocked and rooted (stock ROM) and have Titanium Backup installed. Using Titanium Backup I froze com.android.providers.partnerbookmarks 4.1.2-eng.20130318.182709 then restarted Chrome and the AT&T folder went away. YMMV

Thanks. I've rooted other devices before, but don't want to root this one since I can't use my work's email client (Good) on a rooted device.

For now, I'm going to use Chrome Beta.
