Anyone like the look of the N5?

I like the new look. Especially the back. I didn't like how slippery the N4 was since I don't use a case. I can't stand other phones with fingerprint magnets. This looks more in line with the HTC One X which I loved.

Nobody has said this yet but there was an FCC picture which showed the N5 with a small square window on the top back of the phone and it looks like we are not getting whatever that feature was. I think it was a fingerprint scanner. Others have thought it could be an IR blaster. Oh well.

That notch was just there for FCC purposes. Production one looks normal - doesn't have the weird black notch.

I do not like the back. The glitter in the N4 was already a very good design and I expected the next to have some sort of similar attraction.

Now that I can officially see it clearly and not the hideous blurry leaks, I love it. I honestly didn't like it much from the leaks. Glad it's not glass back.

Ditto. The leak with the Russian(?) guy with impossibly greasy hands/ phone pictures were really special. But I like much more now. Although like another poster said the bottom bezel looks large.. like larger than my Galaxy Nexus though the top looks smaller. :-\

I don't like it, I find it quite ugly but I'm still getting it. I really really liked the look of the Galaxy nexus build by samsung. I wish they would have continued with the slight curve. Regardless I'm sure the rubber back will feel great. I just wish that they had placed the camera in the middle. Also the bezel surrounding the camera looks very cheap.

I love it. I was never a huge fan of the Nexus 4's look (I really didn't like the pattern on the back, or that it was glass). I like a simpler, understated looking phone.

I like the look of the Nexu5, but will miss the design of the glass Nexus[SUP]4[/SUP] - Ghost Armour does wonders to protect the back!

It would make the phone feel so much better. I did have doubts when I saw it, I'm being hopefull.

not so much better......................DAMNN better!!! I mean the metal would add pure solidness to the phone and the touch of the metal combined with smooth matte while holding your phone......smiles all round!!! the matal would also add that bit of class to the phone. I have to say, to me it looks like 100% its gna be metal, looking at the pic an all, it cant be nothing else.

not sure how i feel about the look, i dont like the glass back of the N4 but i just put one of those dbrands carbon skins on it and now i like the N4 back haha. i also think the power key being right on top of the sim tray seems weird, if you can feel the tray. also not a fan of the camera lens.

I think it looks pretty good. Probably look even better in person. As much as I liked the style of the Nexus 4 back, the fact that it was made of glass was a a pain to deal with.

I hope you're right, well if it is, and given that the camera turns out to be decent this phone might be one oft the best selling of all time!

It does look like the N3 which I thought was a really understated and attractive device. I guess it really doesn't have to look like much though. All of these smartphones today outside of BlackBerry devices are just a sheet of glass and plastic really.

Not liking it. It doesn't look as high-end as the Nexus 4, and that camera just looks funny! My Nexus 4 is the best looking device I've owned, and it's too bad they went away from the premium design (love the glass back!!!) for the new one.

It looks great. A Nexus 7 fhd and an N5 will look great together. To bad Verizon won't be getting one. It'd be nice if they could get a phone on America's largest network. Missing out on a market of some 80 million buyers has got to hurt. Even with reduced support like the Gnex is better than nothing.

The Nexus 5 looks awesome! I never owned a Nexus 4, but like others have said I'm glad the 5 doesn't have the glass back, it should less prone to cracks/scratches. The camera better be really good, because its going to get a lot of attention with the big ring around it, but I actually like that look of it too. Definitely a sleek looking device.
