Anyone missing Android Nougat Preview 5 on Nexus 6P?

I received it instantly after signing up for it....

Working flawlessly on my 6p

I suppose I'm just a bit hesitant regarding that. Hopefully some the ota download will come sooner than not though.

Holy ****.... I just realized that the build that I received instantly OTA when I signed up for the beta was preview 4..... Still running smoothly, but I didn't realize it was 4 instead of 5.... What!?! Haha

Can't wait for 5....

Yup sure enough, mine is now downloading as well. Yippie!

So far in the quick reply field for texting, the second is button on google keyboard has finally changed to this emoji emoji button and not redundant as it was before meaning in the quick reply box, there was also a send button as well it was getting very annoying.

Is it just me or in developer preview 5 in the camera settings are we missing manual exposure settings?

I learned to use it a lot to get the best shots in dim settings or at nighttime.

I feel like everything is more polished. Everything seems a little quicker and more smooth. It was very smooth on 4, but it just seems a little more so now. I could be wrong. Like I said it has been great for me since preview 4. Even 3 was good.

What is everyone's top choice for pro camera apps. ? I mean id rather use the Google camera app but that setting is gone now.

You're right, everything is a bit more polished now though.

So far, overall, the update is pretty nice just trying out other camera apps like open camera for manual exposure settings but I need panoramic mode as well

Yes, it looks like they did away with manual exposure, but I'm noticing that HDR is much quicker and it seems like exposures are spot on. There doesn't seem to be a need for manual any more. Am I wrong? What an improvement! Android just keeps getting better and better.

Oh really? I hadn't thought of that actually. Technically speaking I figured we'd need manual exposure for assisting HDR auto mode in dim lit situations and nighttime. You're still seeing pictures come out nicely though with the newly updated camera app from Google? Also when you're taking a shot do you Tap the circular focus finder or do you just take the picture? Do you use the flash at all?

I agree. I noticed that last night when taking a few pictures. HDR is definitely faster. I am so impressed by this update.
