Anyone missing Android Nougat Preview 5 on Nexus 6P?

Yeah. It's not that they are bad phones. I just don't see how it is $300-500 better depending on the deal you get on the 6P.

Consider these things:
1. Apple has a large, faithful fan base
2. Ecosystem
3. Perception of quality based on price
4. iPhone resell value
5. Buyers remorse after trying Samsung (especially anything older than an S7)

You see, when iPhone users switch to Android, they get a Samsung. And, it doesn't take long using a Samsung phone for lag and jank to set in. And, admittedly, I hate that in any phone my damn self. They don't switch to Nexus devices because, well you know why, Nexus devices are a best kept secret. IDk why Google doesn't advertise them, but I didn't buy my first Nexus until the Nexus 6 came out. And, I doubt i would have ever tried any other Android OEM had I known about Nexus sooner. Who knows, if your first experience with Android is a Samsung GaLAGxy after coming from an iPhone, I'm willing to bet you'll go right back to Apple if you purchased anything outside of the Note series. The Nexus is the most likely jump from iOS to Android that would retain that customer, unfortunately, 7 out of 10 iPhone users have never even heard of a Nexus phone. I pulled that stat right out my ***, but I'm pretty sure it's close. You get my point right? LMAO!

You are probably pretty spot on. I've had just about every phone out there. Lol. I just like trying them all. Some I keep longer than others. This will tell you something though. Of all of the phones I've had, I've kept the iPhones and Notes the longest, by far. I do like a lot of things about the iPhone, I really do. My problem now is trying to justify spending all that money when I can get a nexus for so much less. Like you though, I didn't try the nexus until the 6. I'm on Verizon though so that's why.

You made a good point though. You pay all that money for an iPhone and you will get most of it back if and when you resell it. Heck, it might be cheaper to be an iPhone user if you factor in resale value. Lol.
