Anyone not have ANY problems with the update?

Who updated and has or does not have issues?

Small issues, but...

Not really a big issue, but I haven't seen it reported yet. I cannot open my home screen by simply pressing the Menu any longer, I have to actually swipe the screen to open. Also, my call log doesn't show the consolidated entries (every one has it's own, like they did in 2.1) and when I plug into my computer via USB I don't get that nice new screen with the Android telling me that I am plugged in. Any tips/ideas?

Otherwise, loving the updates! :)

The exact same way you flashed it to begin with. The Update file should still be there unless you deleted it.

Mine went away off the sd card after I ran the update.zip and it rebooted.I went to look was going to delete it but it was already gone :p .

I got the update.zip saved tho on a removeable drive
I dont need to reflash but just posted what happen in my case on the update.zip ,lol

My update was pushed over the air from Verizon. Is it saved on the phone somewhere?

I've found that any issues I had were really app issues rather than update issues. e.g. Swype (which is a beta app anyway) needed to be reinstalled.

One theory I have is that my update went smoothly because I had recently done a factory reset (which cleared up a lot of my battery issues). I think the "cleaner" your starting point (less apps, "fresher" 2.1), the less problems you probably had.

I can't say for sure if I've had any problems since the update, since I just got my phone a few days ago and it updated very shortly after activation. I'd say no I don't have any issues, with one exception: If 2.2 was suppose to bring "Improved Battery Life" then I'd hate to know what it was before the update.

The ability to bypass the swipe unlock screen by pressing the menu button was removed -- that's not an issue, its a removed feature.

What nice new Android? I get the same old USB options that I always got. Perhaps this was something new for stock froyo (from Google) that HTC decided not to include in this build (like they did with several others)?

List of problems I have seen so far with the "upgrade"...

--LockPicker and No Lock no longer work
--Calendar entries from Exchange were doubled up
--gravity rocker doesn't work as well - turns the screen at odd times, and not at others when it should
--Phone uses noticeably more battery power than it did previously
--More bloatware added which you cannot remove
--Overall performance is slower

So far, I haven't found anything to actually like about it - only problems.

What do people actually LIKE about it?

I had a lot of issues in the beginning. So I did a factory reset and erased everything it seems to be great now :)

1. App issue, not FroYo issue.
2. Most likely because you're now syncing Outlook Calendar to Google Calendar?
3. App issue, not FroYo issue.
4. More power? Could it be that you're playing with it more finding new FroYo features?
5. More bloatware? like, 1-2 more apps which take up hardly any space at all?
6. Performance can't possibly be slower because it's got the JIT compiler. I would suggest perhaps wiping the device and starting over..

That's unusual, generally the manual update does not delete the update file, but it's good you saved it.

This always happens with swipe anytime there is an OS update.

FYI: Received the OTA on my stock and then did a hard reset as many have suggested and now when I click on the music symbol I get a big red exclamation point and the sample tracks are gone?
Not that they were worth keeping but was wondering what happened to them, weird

They took them out to make room to pre-reload VZ Media Manager :p
