Anyone not using a case with their Pixel 2?

How do you like it? I had a speck presidio grip for my xl, but went with the pixel 2 this year and want something thinner that has some grip.
I'm surprisingly really happy with it super lightweight, good grip, nice looking, until the phone goes in and on Thursday, not sure about protection, much better in person than on the website

I have 2 at home. My phone was delivered today. I have a photo Live Case and a Caseology case. I plan on getting a Speck Presidio grip as well.

I bought an OtterBox Symmetry Case from my buddy that works at Verizon for my Pixel 2. I love it. But I also love the phone naked. The only time I use my phone naked is when I'm home or if I know it's going to be a slow day at work. If it's going to be tough day at work (ie, breaking up fights and tackling people) I throw the case on. The only thing about the case that makes me nervous is that it's pretty hard to get off the phone. Gotta be careful.

Case definitely ON! With a new phone like this I usually just grab something for $7-$10 until I find something I really like. Case goes on my phone even before the first power up.

My Pixel 2 arrives at the end of the week and I don't plan on using a case. I hope the coating on the Just Black back wears well under normal non-box cutter conditions.

I never used a case on my Nexus 6P until I took it to a uBreakiFix shop for a battery replacement and they gouged the back cover pretty good during the process. I got a case to cover up the poor workmanship.

I wanted to roll naked, but just couldn't risk it. Bought a nice Incipio case that I am using. haven't dropped it yet, but at some point I am sure I will

Bellroy leather.....sorry half leather half plastic case just arrived. Not impressed (for the price) so I may go caseless again. Probably should have just ordered one of the google fabric ones they look nice

Anyone not using a case. I've always used a case but I'm considering not using a case.
I've been wondering about the same thing. I have the just black, with a Google black fabric case. I LOVE this phone but have had recent fingerprint sensor problems.

I dumped Google caches, and removed my old print. I removed the case to clean the sensor.

Works great again, but now I'm holding a naked phone and I like the feel of the coating and thinner feels good too. I usually keep a phone 2 years and still sell them.

To forgo using a case goes against my type A personality, but it's a tough call. Am I just tempting fate?

Tried 4 cases and a 5th is on the way soon. Has to be made as I just couldn't find anything I liked. Will be the keeper tho, so still going case-less for a while longer.

only cracked one screen in the last 8 years. cause it was nekkies. everything else in a case just bounced up and landed fine when dropped. it's inevitable. get a case fools.

Yeah, I think people just need to decide for themselves how conscientious they are about holding their phones, and how much peace of mind you want in case of an accident. My wife always uses a TPU or thin shell case. My daughter also went with one of those, but still managed to break a screen (on my beloved N6 I'd bequeathed her!), so her next phone will get full-on balistic protection.

I'm great about holding my phones, but I still drop them. Never on purpose....lol

No case=looking for trouble. Just the other day I was on line at my local post office. The guy's elbow knocked his phone off the counter and onto the floor. Everyone gasped as it fell face first. Guess what, screen cracked. (IPhone X) A simple $7 case most likely would've saved the phone from any damage.

I have never used a case on a phone... especially due to how big they are getting nowadays. I have dropped my Droid Turbo 2 many times but never worried with the "shatterproof" screen. That phone has a slick back though and has slid off furniture.

My Pixel 2 is smaller than that phone, and the material is way nicer, but I may actually buy a case for it. As long as it doesn't feel too bulky. I have never cracked a screen, and I don't want my first small drop to end that streak. I'd feel pretty bad if it cracked off a 1 foot drop.

I'd love to ditch the case on my Pixel 2XL, but doesn't that mean that your camera lens is sitting on whatever you set the phone down on? Sounds like an instant recipe for ruining the camera lens. It's not recessed at all it seems.
