Anyone noticed Gear S3 battery life seriously degrading?

Bought my Gear S3 end of November 2016 and was able to have the watch last about 2 1/2 days to 3 days without charging (talking about non-workout days).
Now I barely get a day and haven't installed new apps or anything. I have restarted the watch severals time this week to virtually no effect on battery life. Could an app update on the watch be draining the battery? Anyone else experiencing this issue?
Same here except I bought mine in Feb 2017. When I take it off the charger it drops from 100% to 97% immediately.

I am glad I am not alone with this! I bought mine used on eBay so I know I will not get perfect battery, but it has been all over the place like others have said. Sometimes it hardly drains and other times It is draining very fast. I use timers and stopwatches a decent amount, but that is the only intense activity I do.

Mine was getting to the point I would only get about a half day out of it. I've had it since just after launch. I bought a new battery off of ebay and just swapped it about a week ago. The old battery was starting to bulge. The new battery made a huge difference.. I am now getting around 2 days between charges.

Also keep in mind the watch face you are using. I think some of the faces from Facer impact the battery life.

after seeing on the Gear app (on the phone) that "Settings" was using crazy amount of battery life, I realized that I had too many apps running in the background! Now, periodically I go into "Recent apps" & "close all apps". And haven't had a single problem with battery.

Can't believe that I have been doing this on my phone to reduce battery drain but never thought of doing it on the watch! D'oh!
