Anyone order online from Verizon lately

Just place my order for the Droid X


Been debating whether to leave my Storm 1 for the past couple weeks now and finally did it!

Anyway, it now says it will be shipped by the 11th, is this definite or do they just put this date as a safety net

Anyone order their device from Verizon and the device be shipped prior to the date that was stated?

I ordered mine on 7/23 and received it 7/29... I would say safety net...

it is more of a safety net...but lately they have been shipping it a week early than the actual promise date. For mine, we were promised that we'd get out DX on August 3rd but just got it 2 days ago....

Ordering online is definitely the way to go. My friend received his less than a week after he ordered online, even though the VZW website said 'ship by August 3'.

I ordered mine from Verizon on 7/28 and the representative on the phone said it will ship August 4th. I'll let you guys know if I get it early... would be so awesome! And give some of the waiters hope...

I ordered my DX online Monday 7/26 and got it today 7/30.

Ordered online on 7/23 (saying it would ship by 8/3) and got it on 7/27. The date they show is just a CYA date.

i ordered mine 7/26 in store. was told 8/3 ship date. called *611 tuesday and wednesday morning and was told 8/3 ship date still. no e-mail from them yet. might call again today and see if there is any new info. would be extremely upset if they bumped me to the 8/18 ship date.......

The X has been shipped!!!!

With estimated delivery being August 4th
