Anyone preorder the regular Samsung Galaxy Note 20?

I placed my order for the green one yesterday. $550 for my Note 9 is kinda hard to pass up. I can't get that in the open market. The battery is going to need replacing soon also. I'm kinda a fan of the base Note 20, my only disappointment is not being able to add an sd card. But I tend to not keep a lot of stuff on my phone, and don't take many photos/videos. But everything else about the phone I do like.

I think N9 to N20 is a decent upgrade.

I’m trying too once my work approves it. Guy has been out that does the final approval. Hopefully Monday. My personal phone is the ultra though. Work will be the regular note 20.

Played with both the Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra at local Costco, to my surprise the regular Note 20 was the one I liked using the most. The flat screen was a delight and the mystic gray back on the Note 20 Ultra looked completely fine and didn’t look/feel cheap at all. Ignoring the specs just blindly using I enjoyed using the Note 20 more in limited time. Also the black on the Note 20 Ultra looked in really bad shape all smudged up. Still going to stick with Ultra but was surprised a bit after using it for limited time. Hmm

I believe the choices for the Ultra are 128 or 512 only.

I would have if it wasn't 60hz. Even with the plastic back. That thing felt perfect in-hand, whereas the Ultra is too big for full-time one-hand use. Loved using the standard Note10 last year. Just way too many compromises this time around though.

You said it right. I felt note 10 was perfect size but went with 10+ because of the small battery in 10. Am happy with 10+ but 6.5 inch screen seems to be the sweet spot for me. Both note 20 (same as note 10+) and ultra are big phones and so am not even thinking about upgrade. Looks like with increasing sizes, my next upgrade has to be fold. Hopefully samsung releases fold with spen next year.

I did... for my daughter. She is going from a J7 (ill wait while you look it up) to her first big person phone. Its perfect. With AT&Ts promo, the phone will be free, and only cost me tax and the $200 burner iPhone 7 to trade in.

I got 2 ultras from me and my other daughter, who pays me for the additional $10 per month cost with the promo.

Not everything is for everyone...but the note 20 is great for the right person, in the right circumstances.

It will feel like a big upgrade from the Note 5 no matter what

I ordered the regular Note for myself, couldn't justify the extra money for the Ultra when I switch out phones so often.

And if you notice, usually the future trade in value is the same compared to the more expensive one. You'll get the same $650 trade-in value if you have a S20 Ultra or Plus and Note 10 or 10+.
