Anyone receive OTA ???

What is this 33 MB software update everyone is speaking of? I tried to manually push this update on my phone but it says everything is up to date.

***Side note*** I just recently activated my new One a few days ago, so i'm not too sure if it was already updated. Can someone post a screenshot of their "Software Information" after this update? I'd like make a quick comparison. Thanks in advance.

Playing in the Wallet app, it doesn't seem like Google Wallet will allow me to purchase anything via NFC. I have NFC turned on but I don't see a "buy" option anywhere in the app.

I am new to verizon. My HTC One hasn't got the update yet. Is this typical? Do verizon stagger the rollout of updates?

Of course I checked. I wouldn't be posting here if I had not.

Settings > Software Update > Check New
Gives "No new software update available"

Settings > Software Update > Status
Gives Source "Verizon Wireless", Code "0".

And of course I know this isn't 4.3. Just interested about how Verizon push updates.

Has anyone heard how the Sprint HTC One owners are liking the update? Granted the Big Red version has some of the bells and whistles 4.3 is bringing already but there's nothing like the agony of the wait for us non-root peoples.

I read the forum last night and it wasnt looking pretty! LOL! The usual things: slower, download speeds are slower, wifi connect issues and of course signal strength. There seemed to be a discussion about whether the bars still represent signal strength, or just what you are using at the moment (4g,3g, 1x, etc.) as many saw the signal strength decrease yet no call difference where others lost signals and couldnt call/text where they could before. Standard stuff LOL! They also jumper over 4.2 and went straight to 4.3 so we have functionality already that they just got.

Mostly yes, but wasn't open gl es 3.0 and trim added to 4.3. I'd say those alone make it a worthy upgrade. Especially trim since that will help with phone slow downs over time due to memory issues.

Where did you find that? I got my update, but I do not notice anything different.

Go to settings, wifi, menu, advanced, notify me. I never noticed this option before, but it prevents the wifi notification when you open an app that uses data while on network. This was an annoying thing to me, and since un checking notify me, I have not seen that notification again.

Awesome, thank you for the tip!
