Anyone returning it?

I've had mine for a week. Between when I ordered it and it arrived I actuallyhad buyer's remorse and planned to return it for the Note 4. I wasn't sure the edge screen was worth the $120 price delta at AT&T.

Then it arrived and it is a thing of beauty.

Like many of the other owners, I like a clean screen and the Edge takes all the junk I would normally have on the home screen.

I never owned another Note for comparison and jumped directly from an Atrix 4G to the Note Edge.

I have not had issue with accidentally triggering the edge with my palm. I regularly use it one-handed. I use the thumb on the hand I'm holding it with to swipe the finger print sensor. No problems. I have not yet used the stylus, and may never use it.

I like that it's unique. I actually hope it doesn't take off like the article above suggests. Obviously I won't want it abandoned, but I like uniqueness and I'm not worried about custom ROMs. Rooting is enough.
I'm not worried about case choices. The Atrix 4G was in a case for almost 4 years. And I always forgot how slim it was until I took it out of the case.
A BodySuit case from Boxwave and a screen protector and I'm set. No bulky OtterBox for this phone. (Its too big to put in my back pocket and sit on anyway, which was the cause of death of more than one phone).

The Edge screen is a change in usage behavior. It took some tinkering to make the most of it, and there are things I'd like to change:
I wish there was better way, other than setting the top edge down first, to get the edge orientation to be "right side up" when its on it back. (ie always have the Night clock orientation) (the "rotate 180 degree" option doesn't seem to do it.)

But bottom line: No way its going back.

This is so true. The Note Edge has value just sitting on a table because via the Edge screen the user can interact with the device without ever turning on the display.

The word when this phone was first announced was that it would be a limited edition and the launch countries would be few.

I had kinda told myself that it wasn't coming to the states so I purchased the Note 4 (N4) instead.

Well, a week later it's announced that Sprint will sell the Note Edge, but I decided to keep the N4 since I didn't have a time frame on the release date.

My only regret now is that I should have been a bit more patient because once the Edge was available I purchased one on the first day.

It's too late now to return the N4 so I will just keep it as a back up in the event something happens to the Edge.

hello

maybey you can try to sell your note 4 on ebay or a other selling site

Having a note 2, note 3, and edge.... The edge panel offers no more switching between apps than what was previously available. In fact, I'd argue using the panel slows you down. It is indeed simply the coolness factor and the potential for more useful things that are not currently available.

For the "let's put phones down and compare how much each can do with one swipe...." test... Again. That is the definition of cool factor. But how many people use it? Like the "wave" motion to wake up the phone... Turns the screen on and shows you notifications. I never used it.

It will obviously be different for everyone but I for one thought I wouldn't need swipepad anymore for switching between apps before I got my edge. After I got it, I saw that I still needed it and it was actually faster. Just not as cool.

There is nothing wrong for getting it for being cool. I didn't want to pay for a note 4 that I felt would be an identical phone to my note 3 once I have it in a case. The edge fulfilled that feeling of having something "new and improved" that's unique. And if developers happen to offer more later, that's a bonus.

For now, the edge is a wider note 4 with a small unique twist.
