Anyone sending duplicate texts on Verizon?

Everyone I was texting yesterday started telling me all my texts were coming in twice and some of the emojis were coming in as question mark symbols. I spoke with Verizon and the rep, after troubleshooting, submitted a network ticket. That said, I have not received one duplicate text.

I actually use Textra but I tried it on all the messaging apps and duplicates were still being sent out.

I got a text that Verizon was "still working on it" so we will see.

I'm not now, but every time I've had this happen it was a Verizon issue and calling them up got it fixed very quickly.

I called Verizon Friday evening and this morning got a text saying they were still working on it. Hopefully it is fixed soon.

Happened all day yesterday. I use the Verizon SMS app. Double texts but ONLY if someone sent an emoji in the text. When there was no emoji no ? marks.

I think there is definitely an emoji issue.

Same thing is happening to me as well using the Verizon Messaging app. When emoji's are used it sends twice, one will have question marks and the next will actually show the emoji.
