Anyone Switch to iPhone Max??

I use both. Never a switcher.

I was annoyed with my Note 8 and after that fiasco if a fps have to say I love Face ID, even now with the improved Note 9. Thankfully the new location and also faster fps.

Face ID learns, works at different distances and angels and XS model has improved the hardware that it uses.

To each their own, or multi cross- platform. Spare / backup and 2nd private phone number too. I would never be w/o 2nd (and 3rd) phone, which is what my Essential has become, and which Note replaced.

Your response was a bit ridiculous. I can use any criteria I want to switch to whatever phone I want. For example, if I prefer the placement of the bottom-right speaker grill on the iPhone XS Max to the placement of the bottom-right speaker grill on the Note 9, and that's the criteria I use to switch devices, then that's my business, not your's. I work hard for my money and I'll choose to spend it any way I want and no one has any business telling me otherwise.

I think we got off on the wrong foot , maybe through text we didn't understand each other...everyone has right to spend their money which ever way they choose. I was curious why someone would let watch decide what phone to get Maybe I dont understand that part because I dont really use watches . So I have no beef with you let's call this . I look forward seeing you around the forum and enjoy your purchase which are good options I use alot of different phones and not stuck on one company.

Saw one YouTuber comment after opening the iPhone box, and said it’s just another iPhone, nothing spectacular, nothing to get worked up over. He even said going into the AT&T store there were no lines, no crowds, nothing. I just purchased the galaxy S9 from the iPhone 8 plus. Didn’t even want the new iPhone. Way too much money.

After passing on the Note 9 because TMO was insisting on a huge down payment I have considered getting the Xs Max, haven't used iPhone since the 4. Really only reason I'm considering it is because Apple watch is superior, still not sold on idea yet.

I do, but I was going to get rid of jump on demand and just the phone elsewhere. Another reason I have been hesitant, I'd be stuck with an iPhone for a while, which would suck if I didn't like it.

Ooooh. That is quite the gamble. Last time I tried that was the 7Plus and after 24 hours I'd had it.

Yeah and the tmobile price drop on the Note 9 is making me think about checking that out again.

I'm not dedicated to one OS or another so switching between iOS and Android isn't an issue for me. I really like the EKG function on the Apple Watch Series 4 because of the occasional arrhythmia that I suffer through and it'd be nice to get a graph of that to show my doctor. Perhaps I should've stated that up front to avoid the miscommunication.

I am so anti-Apple ANYthing so no I'm not switching. LOVE Samsung and LOVE the N9. But...I am a bit smitten by the new Apple watch. Won't be getting it tho. I don't wear watches and holy moly the thing is way spendy!

I used to be hard core anti apple, until I actually stuck with the plus sized iPhone for two weeks. When I tried out the small 5’s and older I hated them with a passion. There’s just some things, that apple does, that Samsung will probably never do as well. For example, feature integration into the software.

One thing that iPhones have that I cannot live without is travel time on their calendar app. I work off of a schedule and having the travel time built into setting the appointment is HUGE. There isn’t even a 3rd party calendar app that does that on android.

My work phone is a pixel 2xl and I really do like that phone. But I do all of my scheduling and calendar appointments on my personal iPhone. I just use my pixel for reddit and phone calls/email lol.

Not switching. Can't stand locked down OS. It sucks cause I think it runs pretty smooth and some apps are better.
