Anyone Switch to iPhone Max??

Theres a thread by someone on Macrumors where they got their new Max and decided it's going back because it's still the same old iPhone.

I doubt the average user can tell the difference in performance nor camera.

Just bragging rights.

I've been waiting for my Note 9 to ship still (don't want an unlocked one), but waiting has got me thinking about that Apple 4 Watch and picking up an iPhone just for that.

I used to be hard core anti apple, until I actually stuck with the plus sized iPhone for two weeks. When I tried out the small 5’s and older I hated them with a passion. There’s just some things, that apple does, that Samsung will probably never do as well. For example, feature integration into the software.

One thing that iPhones have that I cannot live without is travel time on their calendar app. I work off of a schedule and having the travel time built into setting the appointment is HUGE. There isn’t even a 3rd party calendar app that does that on android.

My work phone is a pixel 2xl and I really do like that phone. But I do all of my scheduling and calendar appointments on my personal iPhone. I just use my pixel for reddit and phone calls/email lol.

Can you expound on that? I don't understand when you say travel time.

You're not hurting anyone but yourself buddy... There's no comparisons. It's Apple for Christ sakes. They've lacked innovation since Jobs died.

I am very seriously considering the iPhone XS Max and the Apple Watch 4. I saw both last night at Verizon and was impressed, especially with the watch and the health. I have a Gear S3 Frontier which I listed on Swappa last night and will probably list Note 8. I still owe $560 and I cannot trade it in. I would have to add a 3rd line. Even if I paid it down and kept trying to sell it that could work.

I love love Samsung and the Gear but I do like the iPhone and could be happy with it but the series 4 watch is a work of art and it would be good for my health which needs help.

Yeah, Samsung phones always go on sale around the time the new iPhone gets released. I knew this would happen but I pre-order anyway. lol

Never noticed before because I always had the Note pre-ordered. But, if this is the case, I may get my Note at this time every year. I'd rather have a a cheaper price than accessories I may not necessarily want.

Nope got my 512GB Note 9 with duo charger and DeX pad (dunno what I need it for) for $935. Best spent money yet.

I don't feel like I'm hurting at all. In fact, I feel like I've upgraded. But that's my opinion. If you can point out an Android watch that works just as well as Apple Watch Series 4, let me know.

The new Galaxy watch, ok it's Tizen not Android but the 46mm version with the larger battery I would consider better, I have the Bluetooth version and ok it would be cool to have the ekg funktion like the apple watch 4 but besides that it really doesn't appeal to me, ok I have a Note and not an iPong so of course the galaxy watch is better to me

Samsung had this features a while ago. The only thing the Apple watch have is a EKG monitor. And that's a good feature. But I can test my heart rate from my phone or my watch at anytime.

Only place I have noticed a sale on the Note 9 is TMO. I don't recall the full retail price of the s9 so it could be on sale at various locations. So it doesn't appear Samsung phones don't always drop in price when the iPhone releases.

LOL! Apparently Apple marketing is not too keen on the notch themselves, since the commercial on TV darkens the notch area to essentially hide it.
