Anyone switched from the G8 to the Wing? Performance downgrade and Gboard?

I currently use a G8 and have no issues with it other than my fat fingers while typing. I've been looking at the Wing as a work device primarily due to the keyboard functions where you can have a huge horizontal keyboard on the front panel and compose on the smaller panel above. Curious to know if Gboard works with this function? I know the G8 has a slightly better screen, chip, and headphone jack, but curious if anyone is noticing a real difference in performance. I can't find any forums on the Wing or customer reviews about the device, so i figured I'd ask here. Hope all is well and stay safe!

I'm curious about that phone as well. Are you close to purchasing it, or are you still on three fence?

I can't get my hands on one as none of the stores in my area currently stock it. I can't bring myself to order one online without a hands-on. Online feedback is a mixed bag.
