Anyone taking theirs back?

I've had my S3 since Tuesday, I can honestly say that it's the best Android phone I've owned. I started with the original Droid, then the Droid2, I carried the DroidX for a while and had the GNEX last. All of them great phones for their times. But the S3 is the best so far. The GNEX was a great phone but the camera on that one was a real disappointed, I have a couple of Lil ones and I like to have a good camera in my phones for an impromptu pic here and there and the GNEX just fell short. I haven't had a single issue with the S3. My signal strength is better than the GNEX, I don't have a single WiFi issue, no dropped calls, screen is perfect. The only caveat was the Samsung keyboard, nothing SwiftKey couldn't fix. Love the phone.

Okay thanks, I knew 350 was too good to be true. I need to actually read articles and not headlines.

I tried changing the channel and updating the firm ware on my router.

I might replace it this weekend. There are other things going on that make me wonder if it is the router. Maybe I will go somewhere and see if I have the same issue on another network.

No phone is perfect and I don't expect perfection. My S3 comes as close as possible with today's technology as far as I'm concerned though.

I will when the developer phone is out. Until then it's staying in the box and when it gets mailed back I'm gonna write a little note on the box for Verizon ;)

Not me... I love this phone, best one so far and this is my 5th android phone. I didn't think I would actually like it this much more than the nexus. I don't root though.

I returned mine yesterday that I had since the 9th. My s3 was awful in signal quality from day one (Dropped calls, sputtering voices, data drops). After calling tech support I was told to go into the store and try a sim swap which I done but it did not fix the problem. Finally after receiving numerous calls with sputtering voices on the other end I'd had enough, went into the store and swapped my s3 out for another s3. The new s3 has been performing flawlessly in areas the old s3 was a nightmare. I'd rate it as good as or better than my rezound in signal quality. I did have to pay a 35 restocking fee in the end but thinking about calling Verizon and trying too get it credited back to my acct.

Yep, it's always worth trying a different phone before writing the model off entirely.

My employer has about 30 people with Milestone X2's (still Cellcom's Premier dataphone :-[) and I don't think any two behave exactly the same. All have been wiped back to factory fresh, but one crashes on camera usage, one starts playing music when charging, and a few more can't use push data for Exchange without melting down their batteries.

Mine was rock-solid stable, but I'm glad I was able to pawn it off when I got my personal GSIII. Motoblur + Gingerbread just feels like it's 100 years behind this thing. :D

I have had mine for about a week and once i rooted it and unlocked the boot loader, SUCK IT VERIZON, i have loved it. Havent had any issues with it and love the camera.

I tried to take mine back and couldn't. I just couldn't make myself do it. I told them I was dropping calls so they gave me a new SIM so we'll see how it goes.

...I don't understand why everyone is complaining about the WiFi radio. Mine always stays connected. In fact, i think it's better than my laptop/s wifi card, because sometimes my laptop loses the signal, and the S3 hasn't lost signal once. Obviously, if youre having the issue, go back and return it for a new one.

I had a galaxy nexus before this for a short time. I loved the nexus, I had installed jelly bean and boy was it smooth and fast. When I got this one I was disappointed because it was a bit laggy. I rooted, installed one the deoxed roms along with nova and I am loving my phone right now. I am hoping for more development and jb roms but for now this will do.

That is impossible (to date).

To answer the OP, NO I love this phone so far.

My issue is that the radio seems to suck @$$. My OG Dinc held the 1x and 3G signal a LOT better then this does. My wife and I both have 32g SIIIs and neither of ours had good 4G service in Columbus Ohio when we were there over last weekend, and we had multiple spots along I-70 where we had no data or voice service.....something she did not have on her Samsung Facinate or me on my Dinc

This phone is a keeper for me 1 day and I'm loveing it :D.
Haven't had any problems and soon rooting to try beloated
