Anyone thinkin about getting the iPhone 6 ????

2. If they put more in the iPhone it will be for marketing reasons.

Not true, IMO. If Apple bumps the specs, it will be for a better user experience, not marketing. But if they do bump the specs, on the camera or anything else, it will be in the user's favor.

1. 8mp is enough.
2. If they put more in the iPhone it will be for marketing reasons.
3. If you follow cell phones tech or camera tech, you know megapixels are basically the only selling point for cameras besides 4k video and OIS (120fps/slowmo on the 5S)
4. If they do put more MPs, it will probably still be best in class because they will probably make the sensor bigger.
5. Still not required IMO.

Hope that's simple enough for your reading skills. I'm done arguing you.

My reading skills? I read your responses very well, they don't make sense.

I bought two iPhones 6's. One overheated and the screen had obvious artifice. The second had a blue screen of death upon opening in the Apple Store. Now I've had iPhones, Androids, BlackBerry, Windows Phones.... But I still think the iPhone 6 has massive bugs to work out.

They're great looking products, but I just don't like the OS as much. Saying that, I am an abomination - I have an iMac with Windows on a partition (gaming) but own Android devices for phone and tablet

I would never buy another Apple product with their Walled Garden environment that locks you into buying everything from Apple and Apple only. I am not impressed with Apple looks, limited devices type styles, quality and their OS is just not that good that is about 1 year behind Android in most features. Also, I consider Apple stole about $300 from me in iPhone 4 replacements that were poor quality. BTW, the iPhone 4 suffered from antenna-gate.

My last experiences in the Apple store was the worst customer service I have ever had in my life. The original iPhone 4 I had got was replaced for $150 one week out of it's one year of warranty. The next two iPhone 4 just didn't work or were refurbished nightmares they tired to stick me with that had only a 30 day warranty that cost me a second $150 to replace my 3rd iPhone at the 35 day mark after replacement. The 4th iPhone 4 worked until my 2 year AT&T contract was up and AT&T sent me a release for the original iPhone 4 imei that locked me into AT&T. Apple refused to unlock the new phone replacement even after 10 plus hours of going between AT&T Customer Service and Apple's customer service. The problem was orginal phone with IMEI # didn't match the three phones Apple charged me for in replacement that I got from Apple that always locked the phone to AT&T. Apple Customer Service has one and only one solution to every problem and that is to buy a new iPhone from them and lock myself into another 2 year contract.

Just ordered a 6 plus cant wait. It will look nice next to my note 4 lol.

I went from Windows Phone Nokia Lumia 1520 to iPhone 6 Plus, my first iPhone. I've been using the iPhone 6 Plus for a month trying to give it a chance, get used to it, learn to appreciate it but I think I've made a mistake. I'm looking into Samsung Note 4 and Nexus 6.

After checking the iphone 6 out I told the guy @ the apple store i wanted to buy a off contract model only to be told that the off contract model wont be available till 6/15. Well thats a good way to make people buy and pay for the the phone AND get sucked into a two year contract...nice one.

I bought my iPhone 6 Plus 128 GB on 2-year contract at the Apple store with AT&T for $499. I then went to the AT&T store to discuss the terms of the contract and the salesperson at AT&T showed me on his computer that if I went with AT&T Next I could get a better monthly rate because with the 2-year contract you are actually paying more over the two year period. AT&T gets their money back on the lower sale of the phone by increasing the monthly service plan. He said the salesperson at Apple should have told me about the Next plan and I explained that she didn't. He then put me on the phone with a customer service representative at AT&T and I told him I wanted off the two year contract and to pay for the phone in full. He had to consult with his manager because few people pay for the phone this way. He said to pay off the phone would be $350. To buy the phone in the store was $950 but the way I did it the phone only cost me $850: $499 in the store and $350 added to my phone bill. I didn't plan it that way but that is how I got a cheap monthly rate and my iPhone 6 Plus for $100 under retail.

My reasoning for the off contract model was that my t-mobile contract is up 1/15 and i wanted a sim unlocked phone. I ended up with a 32G 2014 moto x. $850.00 is a lot of $$ for a phone, and too much in my mind, but then again iphones hold there value more than any other device out there. Enjoy your iphone 6.
