Anyone thinkin about getting the iPhone 6 ????

If you asked me 4 months ago, i would have said no.

Right now the new features in iMessage is really becoming a killer for me.

(Ability to take/make phone calls on your iMac and send SMS on your iMac if you have an iphone.)

I think I am more disappointed that Google Hangouts hasn't become like this.

Also if the rumors are not true and it is the standard 4 inch phone, that is going to be a tough swallow. I love my S4 screen size.

I have two upgrades available this year, so I might pick one Android device (Note 4 or LG G3 most likely) and the iPhone 6.

The only reason I liked Apple, was the passion that Steve Jobs put into that device..
the way he talked about it and was behind it 100%

But now its like its playing catch up. so no apple isn't for me anymore.

I think the iPhone is a lot better now than it was when Steve Jobs was alive. But that's just me. I think the direction that Apple is going in now seems to be more innovative and with their new phablet that projected to be released this year and iOS 8, I think that they would have more than caught up. I think that once that happens, they will have every other platform beaten with the exception of customization and homescreen widgets. Which neither feature I care about.

Might get the 6 just because I haven't had anything to do with iOS since the 4. If the design is on point, I just might pull the trigger. I'll still keep my Android phones in the rotation, though.

If apple doesn't step up with iOS 9 then I dunno man.. iOS 8 preview was a joke. They added a bunch of crap that my galaxy already has and claimed it to be ground breaking... apple needs to sit down and stop trying to catch samsung and go okay what can we do different other than make the phone look nice.

I agree with that, for sure. It's kind of sad that when a lot of the general public thinks of Android, they immediately turn to "Galaxy". Which isn't the case, and shouldn't be the gold standard for Android. The platform has so much more to offer everyone than TouchWiz! I know others are making great Android handsets, but I'm also not the general public when it comes to tech. I'd like to see Nexus/Silver devices more frequently (I've seen two Nexus 5's in the wild - both at Disney World); I'd also like to see other manufacturers like HTC, Moto, LG get the respect given to them that Samsung gets.

Yeah, okay. iOS 8 plus a larger screen will probably swing a lot of people to iPhones.
