I'm always taken aback when they say they're going to capture that much of the smartphone market. Not going to lie.

Where did they make that claim?
So, your Galaxy has everything that was shown on iOS 8? I don't think so.
Yeah, okay. iOS 8 plus a larger screen will probably swing a lot of people to iPhones.
iPhone 6 Sales: Survey finds massive sales opportunity for iPhone 6 | BGR
IPhone didn't offer anything great with iOS 8. If you think they did good for you enjoy buying your iPhone. And yes the larger screen will sell phones for sure. Every time apple comes out with a new phone you will see a bunch of galaxys for sale then when samsung comes out with a new phone you will see a ton of iPhones for sale and so on and so on... I'm not against apple I just won't be buying the 6. Not after seeing that keynote on the iOS 8.

It is a great update.
By the way, isn't it true that iPhones don't have carrier-installed bloatware? For example, would an iPhone have Verizon or AT&T apps pre-installed? I know a lot of Android phones have stuff on them from the carrier.
Also, I think you can easily buy an unlocked iPhone from any Apple store. If you want an unlocked Android phone, you probably need to get a Nexus phone.
Another thing is that iPhones have 64 GB models available. Storage on most Android phones usually max out at 32 GB.
The iPhone launch record is 9 million on launch weekend. I think that the iPhone 6 launch weekend will top 12 million, and will include a ton of Android converts. IMO, of course.

Yes it is totally true that carriers don't get to put bloatware on iPhones. This fact combined with carriers and manufacturers getting in the way of Android customers getting Google's latest and greatest, is a complete show stopper for me, that will result in me NEVER buying an Android phone. That part of the Android experience is just messed up. I have a 5S, and doubt that I will switch to the 6. Maybe the 6S or 7.
