I'm a bit of a fitness geek and curious to know whether anyone uses FitBit on their M8?

Also anyone have the Flex? Looking for general feedback, Pro's & Con's before spending out the ££'s.
Watched quite a few reviews on YouTube but interested in more opinions from the AC world.
:)

I've been trying the Fitbit app on my M8, trying to sync it up without a device, but so far, it's been pretty hit or miss. I even moved to the beta app so I could send log files to Fitbit, but it's been no help so far.

I previously had the Force, but sent it back with the recall. I even got a Pebble, hoping it might have an app that would be a good substitute for Fitbit, but that hasn't worked, either.

I've been unintentionally using it. I guess it's been running in the background for some while now as I got a notification I had taken 10,000 steps one day. I haven't stopped it. I think it's quite neat. I walk about 3 miles a day and burn about 2700 calories a day. I had no idea...

Think I will get the Flex and give it a go!
Thanks for the replies!

Let us know how it goes. I am interested in one, but since I am 6'4" and 174lbs and have been that way for the past 8 years, I have generally figured whatever I am doing is working. I am still interested in the Fitbit, though.

The one does floors the flex doesn't. I really wanted the Force.

After a bit more digging, The Force is due to be re-released later this year.
Tempted to wait for that one. As the back of it is closed rather than open like the Flex due to having to take out the unit and charge it.
Been a lot of reviews saying sweat and allsorts get inside that part on the flex and well you can imagine the outcomes.
Decisions, Decisions....

I have been happy with the One too. It clips on and is very accurate. The phone app works great. You might check the fitbit forums too.

I use the FitBit app and my One as the FitBit hardware. It works surprisingly well and doesn't seem to impact the battery at all. Plus the price (free) is right!

I have both the Aria WiFi scale and the Flex. I have my fitness pal, Fitbit, and Run Keeper all connected together in the background so all data from one syncs to the others. I love having the Fitbit to track my general laziness, my fitness pal to track my calorie intake, and use run keeper when I cycle. I know that fitbit can track calorie intake, but have used my fitness pal for a long time so kept in around. When all things are working together it is really pretty comprehensive (as long as you track your food). Any of these trackers are not going to make you lose weight, but if you put them to use, they can be very helpful to a fitness and weight loss plan.

have been using fitbit flex for about a week, definitely works better than using phone itself as tracker, phone seemed to be hit an miss and some days would get stuck and not track, they update quite often so its a work in progress i guess. fitbit is fun though.

I use mine as well, with a Flex. I get notifications in blinkfeed and the application itself works great, without a substantial hit to battery life.

Sent from who cares, it shouldn't matter.
