Anyone using a free VPN on their note 10+?

I also use NordVPN on my notebook PC, Tablet and Note 10+. I usually get close to the maximum speed my home internet connection can give when using NordVPN.

I can get good speeds. Sadly no VPN gives me my full home speed since it's ridiculous lol.. but I've used ExpressVPN, Nord, and PIA. All are good in their own way.

They are pretty good. I'm in IT myself. Nord has one issue.. some servers get overloaded. So sometimes you have to connect to another place to get better speeds. That's the only issue I've run into with them.

Once ExpressVPN puts in what Nord has for iPhone I'll switch. Which is auto connect when on WiFi. I have that always on so anytime I'm on wifi the VPN auto connects (screenshot below).
So far only NordVPN has that for iPhones. The day ExpressVPN puts that in for their iOS app I'll swap.

Nord VPN got hacked recently. FYI.

I use Private Internet Access (PIA) and it is relatively inexpensive about $40 a year.

Nope! I tried that and was NOT pleased. It slowed my data down a lot and used up a butt ton of battery.

Hmmm... Seems like i have to try ExpressVPN. In Indonesia Netflix is kinda blocked. Thus its either Private DNS or VPN...

I use PIA now. It's relatively inexpensive and is not a battery hog. I've also heard some good things about CyberGhost too.

How does it affect your data/wifi speeds and battery?

Speeds are slightly lower. Almost no affect on the battery. My wifi is FiOS 1 gig and I'm using the note 10+5G. Speeds are the insane!

I'm just using the Samsung 1.99 euro per month option for protection on public wifi, 1.99 is close enough to free for me
